I have had asthma since I was a baby (1973) so I've had my share of allergists take care of me. When I moved here, I was scared I wouldn't find one as competent as the one I had in my previous home state. My first appt was with Dr. Weiss. She spent an enormous amount of time with me, explaining why my breathing was as bad as it was, and what she felt was the best course of treatment for ME. Within a week or two, I was breathing again! I have also seen Jodi (nurse practitioner) who is just as competent as the doctor and both of them continue to treat me as a team. I never feel rushed with my questions, and when I have to speak with the clinical staff, my questions are answered timely and professionally. I have never had a bad experience with either provider (or the office) and my asthma continues to be well controlled.
