Dr. Michelle Slifkin, MD

I first met Dr. Slifkin in the ER at Vassar with a tick bite and Lyme rash. I was diagnosed with Lyme and babesiosis, following bloodwork. I had follow up visits and later saw her for two more tick bites. She has always been very professional, listening to my observations and concerns, and being thorough and compassionate in her care. She took the time needed to address every question I have had. I so appreciate that! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an infectious disease specialist.

I had a very positive exchange with the doctor who was at first rather impersonal - but I made my needs very clear ( painful gastrointestinal symptoms, shortness of breath etc post- Lyme treatment @ Nyack hospital upon discovery of bullseye) I would say of some of the reviews, speak up in the office!! There are life and death issues for many of this drama patients - I’m not saying anyone should feel disregarded by any physician— but she literally shifted when I basically asserted myself . A different doctor appeared! Good care -

"I don't know,....I don't know," "I have to get to another patient." As she rushed out the door. We where charged $160 cash for bubkus. Avoid her, go elsewhere. She did nothing, told us nothing at all. ca-ching, ca-ching.

Professional diagnosed the problem had it corrected within 24 hours on my father that was a patient at Good Samaritan Hospital outstanding doctor took her time listened and was very caring thank you Dr Slifkin from the Millett family
