Dr. Michelle Menard, MD

I think I started seeing her about 3 years ago. I liked her immediately! She is very professional and yet you feel very comfortable talking to her. She goes out of her way to help you and she is very knowledgeable and explains things so that you can understand. She has a way of letting you know she cares about you and your health. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I won’t go to anyone else as long as she is here in New Iberia.

The only reason this clinic gets more than 1 star is because the doctors are really good. But like most doctor's offices, most of the interactions here are with the staff. The ladies at the front desk make it seem like you're inconveniencing then just by showing up for your appointment or trying to check out. The nurses are fine in the office, but forget about ever getting anything accomplished over the phone. Sometimes they won't answer for days, and other times they'll call in medicine for you, but not bother to call you to let you know it's been called in (how am i supposed to know to go get it). They are slow to get paperwork done for insurance to cover medication which should be simple according to the people at our insurance. Just absolutely everything about dealing with this office staff is infuriating and time consuming for no reason except that they either hate their jobs, or they aren't good at it.

Dr. Menard listens to her patients and is very knowledgeable about many things. It is a blessing to have her as my Doctor. She will not disappoint you.

Been seeing her regular basis for years. Takes time to actually listen and take into consideration your thoughts in the little time she has & is very thorough. Friendly and excellent bedside manner. Recommended

Considering the time demands placed upon any physician, Dr. Menard exhibits nothing less than excellence. I credit her with saving my life in immediately ordering the right tests and biopsies to diagnose what turned out to be 4th. Stage Head & Neck Cancer. I am now two years out from treatment and free of cancer at this time. Thank you, Dr. Menard!!!

She is the most thorough physician I have ever been examined by. She goes above and beyond to help in any way. You walk away from her office knowing you received the best possible care available.
