Would not recommend
I dont usually write reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst appointments I have ever been to, so if I can warn other people, I will happily do so. She was condescending to almost everything I said and made me feel entirely belittled. Now when I need an appointment, I will only go to see another provider and refuse to go through an appointment with her again.

rushed, unhelpful and condescending
These three adjectives sum it all up. By far the least supportive provider I had the misfortune of meeting.

Worst Appointment Ever
I never write reviews until this I had this experience. Worst healthcare interaction I have ever had. Doctor made me feel belitted and small. Shamed me for not remembering one of my meds and told me my allergies (which I have been told all my life are real allergies) weren't allergies and were "adverse reactions". Worst bedside manner ever and that was only 5 minutes in. Seriously would never recommend again.

Very unpleasant and dismissive every time I’ve had an appointment. I actively try to schedule with another provider whenever possible, even if it means delaying the appointment. It seems that she has a dislike for students which is remarkable given her position as a student health physician. To illustrate this, during one appointment when I was explaining to her that I take a medication once per day, she responded “well of course you do, this medication is only given once per day.” It felt like I was getting criticized on my medical knowledge by an attending while on a clerkship rather than receiving care from my doctor.

She has a terrible attitude - very condescending, dismissive, and unempathetic. I am deeply disappointed that such a prestigious institution would hire such an unhelpful, unprofessional doctor.

She has the worst bedside manner. Very condescending demeanor and makes you feel like you're wasting her time. Her diagnoses for me just seemed lazy. She sent me back home without treatment and explaination. Don't go to her.

In my opinion, I think Michelle is very rude, dismissive, and has very poor bedside manner. I had a herniated disc and she laughed in my face and said you're dramatic, it could be worse. A physician is never supposed to say this to a patient. She's not a Columbia graduate, and she spoke that way to me (a Columbia graduate student)...simply outrageous...She needs to learn how to speak to patients. I would never recommend her to my friends or family

Dr. Love was my doctor for 8 years until she went to work at Columbia, and she did a wonderful job. She was there for me as a trusted health care provider through many illnesses, the worst of which was a diagnosis of MS. She was always willing to do research on my health issues and reach out for second opinions from specialists, and she helped me make the most of things despite the serious challenges I was facing. I was lucky to have her and will always think highly of her skills and character.
