Dr. Michelle Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman is awesome. She has been a vital part of my son’s cystic fibrosis care team since he was diagnosed last year with a very scary infection. She explains treatment options in full, both the pros and the cons, with knowledge and empathy. She is always available, is patient with my many questions, and never makes us feel rushed. I am completely confident in her medical expertise and am greatly appreciative of her compassionate bedside manner. Also, her office staff and nurses are wonderful. They are always helpful, prompt in getting messages to Dr. Hoffman, and are always pleasant.

I would highly recommend Dr Michelle Hoffman to everyone needing a Pediatric Infectious Disease Doctor. She has been treating my son over 5 yrs through 14 hospitalizations. Her compassionate bedside manner truly comforts my son. She routinely seeks his input regarding his health, symptoms, and treatment. She empowers my son to feel he is making a difference in his own recovery. As a parent, she listens to me and my concerns EVERY TIME! Dr Hoffman works with my son’s other specialists to seek the best care for him. I have heard her say many times did more research on possible studies or treatments for my son. These comments give me great comfort because they tell me she’s continuously highly involved and working her best on my son’s behalf. I depend on her. Dr Hoffman puts our family at ease knowing all she’s doing behind the scenes to help him throughout his difficult diagnosis. I can say 100% that she has saved my son’s life many times. I HIGHLY recommend this EXCELLENT doctor.

Dr. Hoffman is a gem! She took great care of my daughter when she was diagnosed with mononucleosis and pneumonia three years ago. Dr. Hoffman is very thorough and takes her time during office appointments to ensure that she has answered all of our questions and also to explain what is going on. She continues to follow my child’s health till this day. She will periodically send a message just to check in to see how everything is going. If I have any questions, she is always prompt to reply on the patient portal or to call me to discuss it. Dr. Hoffman is very kind, patient and personable and has established a great relationship with my daughter (and me!) She has become like family to us. We are thankful. ??

Dr. Hoffman is an amazing doctor! She has treated my daughter through a very serious illness and continues to be there every step of the way! We are able to contact her 24/7 with any concerns, big or small. I don’t know what we would have done without her! She is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and never in a rush:) She also has a great staff who goes out of their way to help and support us.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Hoffman’s for a few years. She is a very caring doctor! She always takes time to listen and answer all questions we may have. We love Dr. Hoffman and her team of people in her office.

Extremely dissapointed with Dr.Hoffman. she does not like to be asked questions or for you to disagree with how something appears. You have to work on your professionalism dr. You misinterpreted my questions as not trusting your training and my lack of one (per your words). If i had just accepted every doctors diagnoses of my son, (only 6 mo ths of age) and not asked questions, he would not be here. Trust your instinct parents. When I told her I was not happy with how she was being and felt she was coming across as inpatient she said "I have somewhere to be in 5 minutes". Thank you for your short time in attending to your now former patient. Upon coming to see my son, she said she was frustrated that I didn't trust her... I wish doctors would understand that these are OUR loved ones that they are treating and patients and family should and WILL have questions and its perfectly okay to question a diagnosis and treatment. Would never recommend to anyone.
