Almost died
I saw Dr Zucker after seeing my dentist for a lump on the side of my face on the same side as a cavity in the gum line for suspected absess , she ordered no imaging and assured me its a blocked salivary gland and unrelated to the caviry which i questioned, and to suck on lemons and took antibiotics. 6 weeks of back and forth and no imaging done I went to the ER because I was so ill and passing out in my car , they did a CT scan and found an absess going into my cheek muscle and up into my sinus cavity. The effects of this are still being felt over 1 year later . When I finally asked for a follow up CT with her to be sure it was gone she said 'I know how you get ' insinuating I'm a hypochondriac when her misdiagnosis almost left me with sepsis.

Review of Dr. Glazer's Medical Services I have been a patient of Dr. Glazer since 2004, and I would like to share my experiences with her medical care. Throughout the years, Dr. Glazer has consistently provided attentive, kind, and compassionate care. She has always taken the time to listen to my concerns, patiently allowing me to explain my symptoms and how I feel. Her approach to patient care is commendable, and it is evident in the way she engages with me during consultations. Moreover, Dr. Glazer's referrals have been excellent, connecting me with specialists who have significantly contributed to my health journey. Although there was an instance of an overbooked schedule which resulted in an excessively long wait time, this was an isolated event in an otherwise seamless experience. The front desk staff has also been generally helpful, and while there have been changes in personnel over the years, any less-than-pleasant interactions have been minimal and have not impacted my overall satisfaction with the services provided. I am looking forward to my upcoming appointment and am hopeful that the efficiency of scheduling and wait times will continue to improve, maintaining the high standard of care that Dr. Glazer embodies. Thank you for your attention to this review, and for your commitment to patient care.

Dr. Glazer have been my primary care doctor for since 2004 and she has always been very good listener and I have never really had any problems with here as my doctor she is kind and patient and empathetic. Far as the office staff I have not ran into any problems as of yet with them and hopefully wont, because I do recall back in the day they had some really rude people at the front desk, but its been about a year since I saw her but she is a good doctor but I dont like the fact that things are so different now where they dont call with your results but that could be because you can go online to Beaumont site and see all your information and test result just sign up for online patient portal and you will see everything there.

Visits are always a mess! Doctor always has a student with her, and she likes to bring them into the room with her without asking! Doctor sends you for tests, but NEVER lets you know the results! There is a sign that says they will only call with abnormal results, so I never thought twice when I never received a call. Went in feeling ill only to find out that I am a full-fledge diabetic and had NO idea! Terrible doctor, giving terrible care! Looking for a new doctor that will actually care about doing medicine instead of trying to look like she is a great doctor! Hope that her students don't take after her!

Disgruntled patient looking for new Dr.! – Nov 24, 2021

Michelle was my personal physician for over 20 years. She is caring and listens to her patients. Sadly, I left years ago when the office staff was a nightmare. I don’t know if she is still w/Oakland Medical Practice. If she is, I hope they changed their ways. I moved too far away now to see her if things have changed.

How many negative reviews do these people need in order to make changes!! I've utilized this office one time and that was one time too many. I've watched my Mom (who isn't a fan of change) deal with this dysfunctional, rude, arrogant, inept office for more years than I can count. Although this sounds dramatic, I really do wonder how many patients have lost their lives due to the lack of response time from these people. No matter how good one considers a doctor to be, if an office is not efficient and thorough, and the physician takes their sweet time reading results, you are taking a big chance with your health. How can a doctor justify taking so long to review test results?! I've actually accompanied my Mom to an appointment where my Mom had to fill the Doctor in on the results. Seriously??? Praying I can get my Mom to change physicians!!! PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT PEOPLE!!!

Concerned Family Member – Nov 01, 2019

Dr. Glazer-Zucker has been my doctor (and my husband's and children's) for several years now. She works out of an urgent care office, so frequently other patients who arrive with true emergencies are seen first; on top of that, she is very thorough and spends a lot of time with each patient. I always schedule appointments for check-ups far in advance, and make sure I come at the end of the day, the very latest appointment. I still end up spending about an hour and a half per visit. But she is the best doctor I have ever had, and I plan to keep her as my physician.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Zucker. Problem is, the wait time to see her is the worst of any office I've ever been to. Test results can take months to be viewed by her and then made available to you. I agree with others who have had similar complaints. She is great, but the office logistics are terrible.

Dr. Glazer-Zucker is fine. She listens well, however, expect to wait 2+ hours to see her. I've had to walk out twice and not receive service after waiting over 3 hours.

I actually like Dr. Glazer-Zucker very much and find that she's the type of doctor that will listen to your concerns and really talk things through with you. The problem is her office is perhaps the most dysfunctional I have ever experienced. Trying to get a prescription refilled or test results is like pulling teeth and often takes numerous phone calls over many days. If you have a particularly unique request or need, you might as well forget about it. Avoid unless you like frustration!

Expect -a total wait of >3 hours. Every time. -your prescriptions to be sent in incorrectly & incompletely. Every time. -refill requests to take up to 2 weeks to be authorized, regardless of promised response times. Every month. But early requests (for ANY med) will be denied. -test results received to be ignored for weeks to months. -anything sent from another doctor to never make it into your chart. -that messages left won't read or returned. -a $60 !!! fee if you need a form signed/completed
