Dr. Michelle Albovias, MD

I had to schedule an appointment with her after my doctor informed me that she no longer sees patients who are pregnant. So she referred me to any one of her providers. The first one was Albovias. I absolutely wish I had been anybody but her! My previous Dr. had suggested I start taking progesterone during my first trimester. She absolutely refused to give it to me, even after there was a note from my previous Dr. that I needed to take it asap. She acted as if it was some kind of narcotic I was chasing. Eventually I got her to prescribe it, she went as far as to describe her two colleagues I have previously seen for pregnancies old and outdated. So here I was no pants on wanting to get up and walk out because the eye rolling and snickering were just too much for me to handle. it blows my mind that here I was afraid of having a miscarriage, and she was offering no help or even compassion. I told him I’ll never see her again. I refuse I’ve never had anybody make me feel so disregarded.

Nearly 15 years ago Dr Albovias gave me a new life. After suffering for 30 years from debilitating cramps and severe bleeding. She and Dr Judy Sun preformed a hysterectomy on me.I am truly thankful to them both. I have throughly enjoyed life these last 15 years.Dr Albovias is a Great Doctor

Dr . Albovias is absolutely great!! Listens well; discusses what to do about problem; relates how she will let me know about biopsy and where I go from here! Dr Albovias is thee best in every way!!!

Dr Albovias doesnt seem to know much about PCOS and was degrading and disrespectful. She blamed me for symptoms of my disease as though I am just fat and lazy and have done nothing to lose weight or improve my health. As someone who usually advocates for my own well being, she has traumatized me to not want to see another practitioner and give up on my health rather than be harassed and disrespected again. I highly recommend seeking other medical care unless you have very simple, straightforward gynecological needs. She doesn't do any research on autoimmune disease, and was too arrogant to listen to my concerns and needs. This is why fat people are more likely to die- because doctors don't listen, and make us want to avoid coming in for medical care until it becomes life or death. I have other caretakers that are more informed, but I feel bad for her patients that will blame themselves and feel hopeless based on the misinformation and fat shaming she provides.

No complaint w/dr. I appreciate her knowledge as well keeping an eye of my health status.

All four of my babies where delivers by Dr. Albovias. I was very well cared for and so where my children.

This Dr. assisted me while I was delivering my baby. She was sleepy and had a horrible attitude. She got upset after I had been pishing for 5 minutes and baby was not coming , she would roll her eyes. She walked out of the room left me with resident doctor. When she came back my babys heart rate was low and she did not do anything about it. My baby has been in intestive care for a week now. She did not clean me or shaved me, did not performed an ultrasound to see if he baby’s position.

I would recommend any woman who has any type of female issues to DR Albovias . She is Kind,Understanding,Patient .She is gentle as well. She is easy to talk to and she listens. She knows what she is doing.

Dr Ablovias was my Doctor for 4 years and I absolutely loved her. Because of my insurance plan I was not able to follow her when she left Mercy to Rush and I am still heart broken about it. She gave birth to my first baby in oct 2016 and would have loved her to be my doctor if I have the chance to have a second kid. My birth experience with her was stress free. She is an incredible doctor and Rush is really fortunate for recruiting her. All the patients at Mercy are missing her.
