I had a very positive experience with dr burgess. She is professional, friendly and competent.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went to Dr. Burgess for an issue I was having with acne. She prescribed me medicine I took for 18 months. I started feeling heavy fatigue and went to my general doctor for a routine blood test. 2 days later got a call saying I needed to go to the emergency room. There I found out that the medicine prescribed was doing heavy damage to my liver, almost resulting in needing a transplant. I was in the hospital for days and received months of treatment (resulting in thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs). This medicine has a history of creating this problem. I reached out to Dr. Burgess to tell her what happened to me and to tell her to get any patient she has on this medicine's blood checked so this would not happen to anyone else. She blamed Walgreens for refilling (I followed up with Walgreens and she had approved all refills). She said she would call back after reaching out to Walgreens and never did. I also called again and she never called back

Very skilled and compassionate doctor. I had a problem arise and she was able to help and reduce possible scaring. Great doctor.

Front desk is awesome. The girl at the front seemed nice. Didn’t have any problems with billing which is good, seeing I didn’t have any insurance.

I came to Dr. Burgess to have IPL done. The process was painless, thi was my first time having this done. I was extremely nervous. My appointment was at 3pm, and I was seen by 3:10. I didn’t have to wait very long, and the front desk was very helpful. I’d recommend her as a provider.

Wonderful doctor. Recently moved to Chicago from Miami and I needed a new dermatologist to help me with my adult acne. I’m glad I found Dr. Burgess. She’s really been helpful in addressing my problem. I’ve seen a big change since I started treatment!

I went to see this doctor for treatment and she was on the covered provider list for my insurance. When i went to the office her staff refused to file a claim with my insurance and even refused to give me all the information so I could not file a claim with my insurance. I ended up paying her out of pocket for services that should have been covered. My insurance provider then reached back to her to get information so they could reimburse me for the services, I later found out that she dismissed me her practice just because she did not want to help me file claims and she was being spiteful. I am a health care provider myself and this doctor lacks professional courtesy. I would not recommend anyone to go to her practice.

She's always been my go to doctor. At first I saw her for acne, lately I had to get stitches. So far I'm happy with this provider.

Very helpful. Excessive itching had me calling around to a few different dermatologists. I called them and they were able to get me in the same day. I didn't have insurance, so price wasn't to bad. The cream I was given has helped significantly. I have a follow up appointment next week.

After dealing with painful and embarrassing dermatitis for four months and a dermatologist who didn't know how to treat it, it was such a godsend to visit Dr. Michele Burgess and start an actual treatment plan that is working. I felt like she listened to me and my concerns and included me in the decisions. I am definitely going to be returning to Dr. Michele Burgess!

Wonderul doctor who goes the extra mile for her patients! I've been seeing her on and off for adult acne, on my last visit she pulled up some type of cheat sheet to find me a cheaper medication, something I very much appreciated. Her and the front desk are always helpful, I never have to really wait long. Would refer her to family and friends.

I saw Dr Burgess earlier today based on a referral from a family friend. I've been struggling with adult acne for most of my life. She seemed really helpful and was able to liste to all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed or anything like that. Although it's obviously to soon for results, I think we found a good plan of action. I'll update my review should anything change, but would recommend her.

Great doctor- been going to her for five years and find her to have a warm and caring “bedside manner” as well as being highly competent at every service I’ve had performed. Her team is friendly and there is a positive environment in the office. I really don’t understand the negative reviews as this has not been my experience at all.
