Dr. Michaela Lee, MD

Dr Michaela Lee met me to discuss back surgery and I already had a epidermal December of 2023 in which documents were submitted to them that took an awful 30 days and once I received a copy for myself, Dr. Guptas phone associates told me incorrect, and I was glad to confirm that I was misguided by Dr. Guptas office. No epidermal has was done and I missed the opportunity to see Dr. Lee because of this. When I spoke to Dr Krause at Dr Gupta's office I let him know that his front office reps gave me wrong information and once I received the documents to see that I was mistaken they're going to review it with their company and I do apologize to Dr Lee for being incorrect.

I was referred to her By Dr. Christopher Iannotti, in which he told me that he had not seen my type of tumor in over 10 years and didn’t see any surgeon ever touching it! Saying I could go blind! Dr. Lee told me well we can wait and see how your eyes are doing! And told me that I am getting old! Very rude! I am 59 & a small person that has worked out all my life! I don’t care if I was 95, they should never tell a patient that they are old! And she said my gland was in her way that she would go through my skull!!! NO Thanks!!! Was able to change my insurance and get Dr Andrew Little with Barrows!!!! The BEST in the country! And he worked with Dr John Milligan which went through my nose! A 6 hour surgery! And Dr Little got the whole tumor which was sitting on my pituitary gland with my optic nerves wrapped around it! It was a meningioma. I am forever grateful to change insurance to get Dr. Little with Barrows!

Dr. Lee performed a craniotomy on me to remove a colloid cyst. She approached the situation with such thorough knowledge and kind consideration of my needs. She addressed all of my questions, and her staff was helpful as well. My brain surgery felt more routine than scary. I highly recommend Dr. Lee.

Dr. Lee was extremely knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, practice and she instantaneously made me feel at ease with her excellent bedside manner.??

We saw Dr. Michaela Hyun-Joo Lee, for a second opinion, regarding spinal neck surgery. She ordered further diagnostic testing, cortisone shots, & physical therapy, before initiating surgery. None of this was done, by the neurosurgeon we had seen, previously. Dr. Lee has a pleasant, caring bedside manner, & demonstrates a thorough level of knowledge. Surgery was minimally invasive, with an easy recovery, & followed up with an order for more physical therapy. We felt very confident with Dr. Lee, & highly recommend her.
