Dr. Michael Yamaguchi, MD

I was one of Dr.Y’a firs patients a newborn in the early 2000’s. Dr y offers longer than average patient visits I have never felt rushed. When it comes to the background scene of the office it is clean quick and extremely efficient and effective. As soon as you leave th epffice within one hour a prescription will arrive at your door, it’s astonishing honestly I haven’t had any other doctors be as quick when prescribing medicine to me. Being efficient in the background allows dr y to be a doctor who schedules appoints for general 30 minutes. Although boring when I was young my parents have always been able to ask questions and get the help and support they need. Dr ys staff is kind and energetic as well. Being integrated with the UCSF system also give the advantages in itself For a patient. I almost feel like as a patient we are dr y children and as one of his first newborn patients it’s comforting knowing that I had an amazing doctor to rely on.

Very knowledgeable. Very nice. Respectful. Kids love him and doctors on his team. All staff is friendly as well.Wonderful experience for 10+ years. We had to go under other insurance coverage and could not see our doctor for 1.5 years, but now we are coming back and very happy about it.
