Dr.Woodcock is a terrible doctor and I would not trust my dog with him. My husband received a surgery that was paid in cash to him which was to help him not go blind. We saw the pterygium was "growing back" when it should have been taken off. We went back at week one and was told that is would fall off as well as the same statement at the visit after one month. After going to his regular eye doctor, he got us an emergency appointment because he was scared that he would go blind. We met with Dr.Woodcock again and he called us liar and was very rude.

Avoid this so called doctor at all cost!!!!!
Telehealth
He absolutely is the worst doctor I have ever been to. According to him, the reason I can’t see is because I have dry eyes, supposedly even though I’ve never had an issue with dry eyes. He refused to let me me talk. According to him i dont need glasses. I’ve worn glasses all my life. Following two laser eye surgeries when I was two years old, but unfortunately, I am still blind in my left eye and I have the potential of going back in my right eye if I don’t wear glasses But he refused to hear me out. He obviously did not look at any of the notes The lady had already written down and he told me that my doctor failed to give me glasses when I was younger. Even though I had already told him I’ve had glasses my entire life unfortunately I don’t have enough space to write out the entire story of what happened but I will say if I don’t need glasses then why are you saying the doctors failed to give me glasses? Make that make sense. I came to you for glasses and you refuse to give them to me

Horrible practice
Rude staff that works the front desk! They answer the phone like they are from the hood! When they do answer! It’s what!! Instead of professionalism! The practice is never crowded and now I see why! Trust someone else with your vision do not go to this doctor office you will regret it

Try focal lens replacement
Not only did he not give two cents about me as a person what I needed personally. During my visit he was talking to his staffed about the missing pictures. I don’t think he listen to one word I said then when I went back for a follow up, they told me I owed another additional $500 after paying almost 10,000 out-of-pocket, something about my insurance didn’t pay, although we checked and made sure of everything that was paid prior to surgery believe me and they wanted every penny. I made my follow up appointment and refused to see me until I pay the $500. I would never recommend him or his facility.

After 1 1/2 hours, I'm given the option to see a P.A. I wait instead. Glad I did. He explains concepts very vaguely and takes offense if you have more questions than he has time for. Very general and presumes you should just take what he says and get cataract surgery without question. Gets offended if you don't. I'm glad I found out about his impatience and poor people skills before I allowed him to perform surgery.

Although I’m still in the recovery phase after my cataract surgery, I seem to be progressing on schedule. My post op care has been good and I have no complaints at this point.

I had Lasik done the week of march 15th. I had one pre op evaluation and then came in on a Thursday. I came in with -6 power in my eyes. I don't know what I expected but I didn't expect it to be that fast. I was in and out with an Hour. As someone who has lived with glasses and contacts for over 20 years I've always wanted lasik because I knew it would help me out. Little did I know that Lasik from Carolina Vision Care would CHANGE MY LIFE. I'm a month out and I wake up everyday with clear vision (got me to 20/20) and I don't have to wake up to a blurry world anymore. Thank you Dr. Woodcock and his entire team. I can't recommend Carolina Vision Care enough. Thank you.

If I could give him no stars, I would. I had complications following eye surgery he performed, resulting in temporary vision loss for several days. He was very cold & lacked empathy. He also didn't try to answer any of my questions. I've since see an opthamologist at another practice who was able to determine what went wrong & what options I have to try to correct it.

Dr. Woodcock was able to identify issues with my eye that everyone else had diagnosed incorrectly. I couldn't be more pleased with this as it has allowed me to receive treatment and move on instead of being stuck like I was.

Great experience. Life changing experience. LASIK surgery. Many other doctors told me I couldn't have the surgery but with Dr. Woodcock it was possible with amazing results. 4 moths after surgery I see great without corrective lenses.

If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, then Dr. Woodcock is Fayetteville's subject matter expert! I've been terrified of having LASIK done, and after being dependent on glasses or contacts, I finally took the plunge. The staff at Carolina Vision Center took care of me, addressed my concerns and fears, and overall made the experience amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I arrived on time for my appointment to find about 16 patients ahead of me - no emergency delays, just his office's usual scheduling. Dr Woodcock was abrupt with minimal explanations. I rate my visit as one of the worst in my 69 years.

I do not want to go into the specifics of my case since it can make me easily identifiable, but Dr. Woodcock promised one thing and delivered another. I was able to see with glasses and have not been able to see well since surgery. I complained to Dr. Woodcock about this several times and was told over and over that it would get better. Well, it hasn't gotten better. I am now being seen by a renowned ophthalmologist at Duke Eye who stated that the level of eyesight I have now is unacceptable.

Dr Woodcock has been my doctor for over 10 years. He is very dedicated and I have full confidence that I am getting the best possible care for my eyes. His waiting room is always full and I am frequently seen after my appointment time but the full room is an indication of how many people believe he is the best eye doctor.

horrible experience...dr woodstock rushed me thru like he was running a puppy mill. was complaining that he was short staff it was 40 patients waiting and it was already 430 in the afternoon. i was question him about my issues and he basically said there is nothing else to talk about and walked out the examination room. now after reading his ratings i should have known since i was told after question one of his staff members prion to him seeing me that he was not very personable...how true...
