1st visit. He came in room and barely made eye contact. Looked at papers from MRIs stated they are not enough. I did not understand the things he talked about. Did not give me a chance to ask questions or talk about my concerns. Left in a hurry without me being able to speak 1 full sentence. Very disappointed.

Searches for the cause
Dr. Verdon got to the heart of the matter right away. I was unsure what my symptoms meant. He prodded in a few places, which produced an ouch from me and then recommended PT and a test to confirm if the problem was caused by my back or feet. Then he will know how to proceed.

Comprehensive approach
Dr. Verdon’s office got me in for consult lightening fast. I very much appreciated that he doesn’t rely on just the radiologist report but reviews MRI, CT, Xray images himself and WITH YOU. His physical exam was thorough but not painful as he was very careful and sensitive to my pain. I was impressed that he seems to know every fellow surgeon out there. Dr. Verdon was a true professional and as soon as he suspected the issue was likely not my spine he referred me to an Orthopedic Surgeon I’ve used in the past. When I followed up with that doctor I was astonished to find out Dr. Verdon had actually TEXTED him about me and what he suspected ahead of time so everyone was on the same page, resulting in a quick move to treatment plan. I’ve rarely experienced such a “white glove” hand off, and all this was done very timely and efficiently. If and when I need a Neuro again, Dr. Verdon will be my choice.

Very pleased
Dr. Verdon took a genuine interest in me as a patient and my condition; every patient is unique. He was contemplative about relating my symptoms to the pathology on imaging. He offered a range of options and applied no pressure or rush to surgery. Dr. Verdon was honest and forthright about prognosis, post-operative pain expectations, and the recovery process. All went just as predicted, leaving me very pleased. I would trust Dr. Verdon with any future spine or neurologic problems of mine or my family.

It struck me that he did not know what he was talking about, but I may have been a rare patient that he doesn’t see that often. What worries me is that he seemed confident... I have since had a correctI’ve surgery. I would not recommend.

Excellent care by Dr. Verdon! He performed a laminectomy on L4L5 to relieve nerve pressure on my lower spine, and installed a coflex device. I was up and walking the next day. Very pleased with his bedside manner, his demeanor, and most importantly, the result! I highly recommend him!

I really liked Dr. Vernon when I first met him. I complied with everything he told me to do with no positive results. The EMG showed a pinched nerve at L5, S1 on both sides. At my last appt. with the doctor, he told me there was nothing he could do for me & dismissed me. He didn't give me any suggestions about any other avenues I might pursue. Needless to say, I will not recommend this dr. to anyone & I continue to live with severe pain & numbness in both feet & legs.

Dr. Verdon was cautious and had us try pt first. After a new mri Dr. Verdon gave us two choices for surgery. He preformed surgery on my husband for 6 hours. He did a super job and my husband has had no back problems for 5 years now. We highly recomend Dr. Verdon. He is very plesant and very smart.
