Dr. Torsiello treated my 91 year old father. Thankfully it was a minor wound but the care was poor. He did not follow through with post op care. He poorly communicated about home nursing (my father lives alone). We actually never got the home nurse visit. His staff is overworked. The response with questions we had were delayed or not given. The doctor also removed my dad’s stitches in a dirty, crowded office. When I spoke to him about these issues, Dr. Torsiello was neither apologetic or caring. I strongly recommend NOT seeking any treatment with this phyician.

I would never trust Dr. Torsiello as a plastic surgeon. He might be able to do simple stitches on other body parts, but I would never ever let him near my face. He messed up my face royally cutting a nerve so that my lip hangs over my teeth and my eyelid is drooping so that it dries out . He, furthermore endangered me by putting me twice in a day under general anesthesia, which is very dangerous for anybody. So, do not let him touch your face !

He informed us that the most invasive surgery with the longest recovery time was the best option for my husband. A discussion or any questioning were not an option with him. With my husband being a very high risk patient we sought other medical opinions. Another doctor explained a few options, the pluses and minuses of each and it was then our decision. My husband opted for the very least invasive surgery. It was extremely successful with a much shorter recovery time (months shorter). We feel patients should be given all options not scared into unnecessary surgery. My husband had much more confidence in the other doctor having had all his questions answered and his fears addressed realistically rather than being scared into making a decision without being given all the information needed.

Dr. Torsiello is the best surgeon I have ever dealt with. He has treated my mother for the past 10 years. She has debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and has a problem healing. Due to her compromised immune system. He is a master at helping her heal. He cares deeply for all his patients. Highly recommend this gifted Doctor who continues to put his patients first.
