Rude and accusative
I have never been so insulted in my medical life. He accused me of just wanting surgery. He came back with a slam when I asked questions. I patiently told him that he had to understand that I have been through a lot medically in the past few years. His response was that the lady in the next room could be dying. I could be dying at any time. He couldn’t help me but said during an emergent situation it could be bad as I would get any doctor on call. So where does that leave me. I have since paid $600 for a incisional hernia specialist to review my CT scans. It turns out that he read my CT scan all wrong. I have now been referred to Stanford to the chief of surgery. There is never a need for rudeness when one is not feeling well and hasn’t for a long time.

I went to Dr.Thomas to have an annoying ( not life threatening or bleeding) external hemorrhoid removed. Nurses scoped me and Dr, Thomas came in 10 minutes later. Looked at it and said " yep OR" and while leaving the room after 90 seconds he turned and said" this is going to be painful. I've broke my back, twice, one occasion including breaking 10 ribs and my sternum. I know painful . I proceed with the voluntary surgery to remove the hemorrhoid . Arrive at the OR and get prepped. Dr.Thomas again comes out between surgeries and spends 60 seconds with to me. I have the surgery, pee, and go home. Dr.Thomas and the nurse fail to tell me or my wife of the pain medication prescribed. My wife goes out of town on business for 3 days. She comes home to find me in a fetal position on the floor in a pool of blood coming out of my anus.I feel violated in every way. I was not warned or informed whatsoever. 9 weeks later, I am still in pain. Horrible doctor

You will not find a more competent & skilled surgeon in this area. He is A#1 and his staff is too. Had zero complications after robotic surgery and MINIMAL post-op discomfort.

Treatment for colon cancer. Very scary, but Dr Thomas was calm and very reassuring throughout. I have no doubt that I received the very best care possible and 2 years later, I'm still here and still vertical. Maria O.

Dr Thomas came highly recommended to do my husbands sigmoid colon cancer surgery , we met with him to discuss the plan, he is VERY blunt honest and straight forward, he has a kind compassionate side to him. The surgery went very well, My husband has made a complete recovery from his surgery and was back to working full time on our cattle ranch about 4 weeks after the surgery.
