Dr. Michael Thakor, MD

I have a rare disease that Dr. Thakor and his PA Kelli have been diligent in trying to treat. They are both very professional, answer all of my questions and make me feel at ease. Also kudos to their MA Mark. He is a saint too with answering my endless texts. I have been seeing this office for over 3 years and will not go anywhere else.

Don’t trust Dr. Thakor if you have an uncommon disease or anything slightly complicated. He made me feel bad for reaching out to him for a very serious set of symptoms. He stayed right in line with his colleague who was negligent in ordering bloodwork. My complaints of obviously terrible pain and debilitation fell to deaf ears. A few symptoms he simply unsympathetically gaslighted as normal for me. He wasted my time and hurt my confidence in the medical community by giving me false hope that I did not have a treatable disorder. His lack of an accurate diagnosis and lack of thoroughness caused me great suffering while I accumulated irreversible damage. He should try better for patients seeking care for rheumatological disorders - this is his duty as a medical professional, and he has miserably failed me.

I saw Dr. THAKOR this morning for my first visit. I was very impressed with him. He took the time to listen to me and also was very professional.

Thakor has worked with me for several years. Insurance companies will usually require that patients try the least costly treatments first, and he did the required progression with me as we tried several therapies before reaching the final and best one. He's always done the prior authorization work, and the insurance company has continued to provide partial payment for my treatment. I find him a gentle and considerate doctor. I hope others do as well.

Amazing doctor! He is caring and sensitive to his patients. He listens and allows you to take part in your medical decisions. I've been with him for years now and could not be more satisfied.
