Dr. Michael Talotta, MD

I was so impressed by how much time Dr. Talotta spent with me. I was pretty sick with COVID when arriving at Urgent Care. He spent time to explain everything in a way that I understood. He told me about each medication and made sure I understood when to take each med. Dr. Talotta is a great teacher and communicator. The thing that struck me the most was his concern for my stress and emotions. I could feel that he was going to really spend time with me…to listen and observe. (By the time I had landed in Urgent Care, my symptoms were bad and I was getting so discouraged. My regular doctor was out on maternity leave and the office wasn’t too responsive…didn’t have an appointment available.) Dr. Talotta wanted to make sure I was competent and understood the care plan since I live alone. He was genuinely concerned and I could feel it. It’s a level of compassionate care that is rarely given these days. Dr. Talotta is a gem!

I was on a work trip to St. Louis when I was stricken with severe abdominal pain. Dr. Talotta helped diagnose me properly and eased my suffering. Great bedside manner and knowledgeable. Glad I stumbled into his practice. Thank you!

I saw Dr. Talotta in the wee hours of the morning. He was excellent! I had an extremely painful ear infection along with a sore throat. He explained all of my treatment options along with his recommendations, and answered all of my questions. By the time I left he had my pain under control and provided me with a thorough follow up plan to eliminate the infection. I am very glad he was the one on duty at 2 AM.

I had an accident and I thought had damaged my carpel tunnel surgery done about a month ago. To be safe, I went to urgent care and sought treatment. I assumed all I needed was my wound cleaned and a band aid. Dr. Talotta examined my hand and performed X Rays and even texted me the X Rays in case I needed follow up in my next destination. I was visiting St Louis MO. I truly appreciated being given medical supplies to take care of my hand for the following week. The great news is my hand is perfectly fine and I got to meet a truly wonderful doctor at the beginning of his career. If you are fortunate enough to have him as your doctor, you are lucky. I will never see him again but I will remember his care and compassion .
