Dr. Michael Smith, MD

Dr Smith was direct. No emotions there, which at the end of the day was fine. It was clear he knew what he was doing. I had searched for a new PCP in the area. All that said, his staff is simply AWFUL. I had a prescription for a test that I needed and they said they sent it over December 2024. Never received the test. I reached back out to the Dr's PA and she said she would send it in again. But she noted that if I didn't receive the test, instead of calling her back I should call the test company directly - but isn't that HER job? Next, I had a 45 day follow up appointment for all my blood work that was done at my annual visit. I showed up at my scheduled time in February and the front desk staff said, no, your appointment was canceled and the rescheduled appointment for 2 weeks later was also canceled. She never even looked up at me. Fist off, I never canceled my appointment. I'm a pretty reasonable person and rarely write negative reviews, but this Dr's office is disastrous.

Takes his time and listens to you. Note that the address listed here is wrong. As of 2024 he is now at 3336 Chandler Heights Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85298.

Dr. Smith has been my primary care for many years and he is kind and willing to talk about any health concerns.

Dr. Smith has been the Primary Internist physician for myself and family for over five years. He is and excellent doctor, who always gives you the time you need to explain your issues. Also his medical assistant is outstanding. He now also an office at Chandler Heights and Higley.

Dr. Smith is now at Phoenician Primary Care in Gilbert/ Sun Lakes!!!

Dr Michael Smith has been our primary care doctor for the past 5 years since moving to Arizona. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. He has moved to a new practice, and I need to know where and his to contact him. If anyone knows, please respond.

Dr. Smith has been the Primary care physician for myself, my husband and our 27 year old son for the past 7 years. He's a wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable doctor, who always gives you the time you need, which is a rarity these days. My entire family is so grateful to Dr. Smith for his excellent care.

You will find Dr. Michael Smith to be kind, compassionate and caring. My wife and I both use Dr. Smith as our primary care physician. He will take the time to listen to what you have to say and address all and any of your concerns. He is definately not a clock watcher. You will be treated as a person - not just a chart. One of the finest, most insightful and caring doctors my wife and I have known. At 82, over a lifetime, we have seen many a doctor for ourselves and our children. Dr. Smith stands out. In addition, he has a superior staff and infrastructure.

Called office and left message 3 times with medical asst. Still have not heard back about lab results. Poor communications.

Dr. Smith is an excellent doctor, he listened and answers all my questions, he explained it thoroughly, never rushed, he take his time, he is kind and patient. I would recommend him to everyone. It’s easy to schedule an appointment. The office environment is clean & comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Never again. The office staff is terrible and as you can see with these other ratings make no mistake don't waste your time here. I made my appointment and was told 240pm. I get there at 242p and they tell me that i need to reschedule becuase I am late. They then tell me that I would need to reschedule the appointment. No accommodation and even was rude. Then when I called in to get my medical records they had the nerve to question me like I was under investigation as to if I got there email confirmation. Well insured patient who deserves better treatment which I will be getting elsewhere.

Dr. Smith is kind, caring, thoughtful, and PATIENT . I never feel rushed . He answers ALL my questions in a way I can understand. He is a great listener and compassionate. He is VERY, knowledgeable about all my physical problems. His network of specialists that he has referred me to is vast. He explains very well and makes sure I understand his instructions. His office staff is professional, friendly, and gets things done in a timely fashion. I have referred friends to Dr. Sm

This office is extremely unprofessional and there is no communication within. Dr Smith does not care about the interaction with his patients and could care less about his offices lack of follow thru with patience. Bad news!!!

Very unprofessional office!

Has always been very thorough during routine and sick exams. I never feel like he is rushed. His office staff have help accommodate appointments are treatment on short notice.

Lacks compassion and tends to ignore half of the stuff I say. Would not recommend.
