Dr. Michael Skyhar, MD

Once that door closed behind dr skyhar he was not on a clock. He was relaxed and very attentive an interested in what i was going through and he listened to my whole story of my different injuries and what lead up to them. You could immediately tell this man loves his work, he has a passion for it still after all these years. This is not just a boring, mindless, repetitive process for him of endless souless bodies coming through his practice for the same quick response and time constriction so he can just through the next one to get through his day and get home. He then came up with a plan to address the different issues I presented and his staff was also just as amazing treating me with respect and just plan downright old fashion hospitality.

Dr. Skyhar is by far the best medical professional I've ever dealt with. He doesn't rush any visit, is always pleasant to talk to, and genuinely cares about his patients - while also telling you straight without sugar coating it. I had a bunch of problems with my shoulder, and had Dr. Skyhar go in and work his magic in March of 2019 and had great results. I wish he could be my Primary Care doctor, but will have to settle with having him as my Ortho provider. I'd have zero hesitation referring my loved ones to him. I recently had to change my insurance plan to one that he's not in network with, but still go to him and pay out of pocket because he's worth it. A+ rating.

Dr Skyhar has been the only orthopedic doctor for my family for decades. My Athletic father, then my athletic brother, as well as many friends. When I had been having shoulder trouble for over a year I knew I would be fortunate if I could get into see Dr. Skyhar. When I mentioned to two other doctors that Dr Skyhar would be doing my surgery they both said “good choice, he’s the best”. He is, the pain I’d suffered with has been gone since my surgery. His bedside manner could not be better! Talks clearly, shares all the info you could want, asked if I had questions, never rushed, went step by step through my MRI with me sitting right next to him while he explained what we were seeing. I can’t say enough good about Dr Skyhar!

I’ve seen Dr Skyhar for knee and shoulder issues several times over the last 15 years. He’s not only a fantastic surgeon, but also a great guy. I’ve always found him to be exceptionally personable and caring. He really takes his time making sure all my questions and concerns are addressed and discussing all options. His assistant is also really nice and on the ball. I wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else.

Dr. Skyhar has been my physician ever since he repaired my totally torn left ACL in 1990. I've referred many to him over the years. He's got a VERY good bedside manner and really cares about his patients. He's VERY knowledgeable and respected in his field. Over the years I have trusted Dr. Skyhar with any orthro problem I was having.

I have seen Dr. Skyhar for the past 25 years. Excellent doctor with a great personality.
