Dr. Michael Simon, MD

Got a huge bill for 1 visit on 2.4.24. They don't answer their phones. NONE. I disputed it with UHC, still under review. I refuse to pay because Dr Simon required another appointment (more charges). When he was there in the office (I saw and spoke to him) and didn't care to review the results after the test. I wasn't about to wait another 2 weeks and more charges when I already went through the tests. They never finished the tests because I was in burning pain, the girl just gave up on me and made me use a bathroom down the hall outside the practice, the nurse just left me there. Since then, I went to another urologist and don't ever care to go back or recommend Dr. Simon to anyone. The office only cares about how much billing and appointments they can get out of the patient. A doctor that cares for his patients would reach out to see how the results came out? Someone named AJ left a VM, really rude Office Manager after calling. Spoke to a Manager at Genisis Care, working on my case.

Dr. Simon speaks to you in a condescending tone AND has terrible bed side manners. His concern is insurance coverage not patient care. MAYBE he was a good doctor out of medical school but he now suffers from physician burnout mode. If you're looking for a Urologist that not only knows how to treat your condition but knows how to treat the PATIENT that has the condition this is not the Doctor. He has “compassion fatigue” and lacks a genuine, caring connection with his patients.

Thanks for the action of Dr. Simon taking all those 13-17 biopsies. I've been free since 2013. Thanks, Dr. Simon!

Have been with Dr Simon for the past 15 years ,service has been excellent never had any problems .always in and out , Staff is wonderful to work with.I would recommend him to everyone Excellent Dr ,very easy to talk and very understanding and compassionate.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Simon. I find him to be knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. I am not on pain meds so I don't have experience with this but I know that doctors are getting more and more hesitant to prescribe.

I question the lack of patient care and compassion- I missed my appointment and my medicine refill was denied by Dr. Simon (or his staff). I'm in terrible pain trying to get an appointment with another doctor.

CLEARLY THE WORST BED SIDE MANNER EVER!! EVEN THE NURSES AT HOSPITAL SAID IT. DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PAIN HIS PATIENT IS IN. HE LEFT A STENT INSIDE OF ME FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS. WAS AWARE OF THE PAIN I WAS IN BUT THE ONLY THING IMPORTANT TO HIM AND HIS STAFF WAS THAT THE INSURANCE WOULD COVER THE PROCEDURE. KEPT CANCELLING MY PROCEDURES EVEN THOUGH THE INSURANCE ASSURED PAYMENT WOULD BE MADE. THE STAFF NEEDS RETRAINING. THEY FORGET THE #1 REASON (THE PATIENT)

The office staff is so rude and unprofessional I would never refer anyone to see this doctor. Their concern is only for getting paid by the patient's insurance, not the patient's health or wellbeing.

I had kidney stones and was in a tremendous amount of pain. Dr. Simon's treatment plan for me was accurate and effective. I ended up having the stones broken up and a stint put in to pass the them. I was in unbelievable pain from the stint and called the office several times, Dr. Simon was not on call when I phoned but his partner promptly returned my calls and eased my concerns. I found Dr. Simon to be very skilled, competent and professional.

I would not recommend. The staff lost my urine sample then the Doctor said their must be a mistake they have it. Who can you believe. A really crazy experience for a medical office.
