Yes, wait times can be long. However, this happens because he takes as much time as necessary with each patient and is caring and has answers or know how to get the right help. Excellent. The best GP ever. The only con is the wait time, but how many doctors give you the time you need to explain and be listened to and not be put down? Very few. The wait is wort( it.

A physician who respects his patients is a physician that you can respect. Regrettably, the mutual respect with Sherman is severely tarnished as one languishes in the waiting room as your appointment time is forgotten. There are too many excellent physicians in the area to allow your patients' rights to be trampled with a physician who does not respect you and your time. This is a case of a person who disrespects your schedule and you shouldn't complain about the wait....no matter how long you sit alone when no one---literally not a single member of the staff-- will let you know your status.

Dr. Sherman is a very nice man, and takes time to explain things and answer questions. The only negative comment I have is that it is not uncommon to have him run way behind schedule. I have often waited up to 2 hours past my appt. Time in waiting room.

Ridiculously horrible wait times, I waited for my very first and only appointment for over 2 hours, with screaming kids running around in the waiting room. Other patients who were also in the waiting room complained about the extremely long wait times also and that it was normal at that office. I did not feel comfortable with Dr Sherman, he seemed direct and straight to business which was obvious since he was so far behind. Not a positive experience for a first visit.

Dr. Sherman is AMAZING. He is very friendly, personable and most of all intelligent. He respects his clients so much and spends time explaining test results and going over any concerns you might have. He is so kind to our special needs daughter and has done great work on helping stabilize her and her needs. I would highly recommend Dr Sherman for any age of care. If your looking for a Dr that will actually sit and listen to your concerns and make you feel welcome then this is your Dr!

Went for a new patient appointment and will not be back. Dr. Sherman seemed like a great doctor, but his nurse Glenda was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked where the bathroom was and she scoffed and rolled her eyes. (I was just asking for the direction to the bathroom, not for help in the bathroom!) I've never felt like more of an inconvenience.

Dr Sherman is a great family doc. He does not pull any punches about health, my wife and I have to participate in our health plan, He does not pull the punches, I need to lose weight, he told me it is all about what you put in your mouth. Pretty accurate.

Lack of caring and empathy. Overall he did not listen to my concerns and put me down in a rude and condescending/loud voice.

I have been seeing Dr. Sherman for about 5 years. I have always been impressed by his knowledge and manner. Yes, you will have to wait for him because he always takes the time needed to treat the patient. This causes some of his visits to run longer and it can back up the later visits, however he will stay until his last patient is done which can be well after 6 pm. I appreciate this caring attitude. He doesn't judge, he just listens carefully and then gives good treatment options.
