Dr. Michael Shafran, DO

had tummy tuck and lipo on April 15th this year by Dr.Shafran . Cost me $15,500. I paid $5,500 upfront and $10,000 in credit by. Still have a balance of around $7000 that I have to pay. The incision is not straight. My stomach fold up. I have accessible skin and dog ears.lipo is not even in my back. I told the doctor I’m not satisfied with the result at all and I don’t want to pay for the rest of the money in my balance. He said that it’s my fault. I didn’t exercise . Doctor offered to redo it. But I have to pay for the the hospital and the doctor who put me to sleep. Meaning that I have to pay more money, go through full anesthesia , go through pain again and take time off from work to fix the result that the doctor cause. .. I am so in regret that I did the surgery with Dr. Shafran. I have family members and friends who did them and the result as was stunning. They had more fat, skin and more weight than me.

I went for a consultation and let me tell you Dr.Shafran is very open and very honest telling you what you need . His staff is awesome and very friendly they are absolutely the best .

Words cant express how happy I am right now. I had surgery today 6/29 and feel amazing. I made sure to let Dr. shafran and the anesthesiologist aware that i was most scared about waking up in pain after general. I do not remember going to sleep I just felt as if I woke up 2 seconds later I felt ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN. I asked to go home as soon as they rolled me into recovery. its midnight and I still feel great, a little sore but not pain. I said all that to say that bedside manner and being attentive to your patient is absolutely priceless. I had an amazing surgery and experience all together. I love my new body! He listened to my goal and my desires and he executed them beautifully. Dr. Shafran has golden hands and I will recommend him to EVERYBODY!

Dr. Shafran is amazing doctor! He not only gave me that flat stomach always wanted but also was very helpful and attentive through my process to recovery from smartlipo of the abdomen. I would recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Shafran treated me for a major scar removal on my thigh from a burn that I had. He was patient, professional and friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions. Most importantly, he was able to remove the entire scar and I was able to return to work later that afternoon. Kudos to Dr. Shaf!

After many years of contemplating liposuction I finally took the plunge with Dr. Shafran. I was frustrated with my body despite years of diet and exercise I could not lose my 'love handles' and as a man I was self conscious and nervous about the surgery. After a consultation, I felt extremely comfortable with his great personality and calming nature and went ahead with liposuction I am SO happy w the results. Dr Shafran is a wonderful doctor. He cares about his patients unlike most other doctors. I felt like he has my best intrestest at heart and I am not just a number to him or his staff. I have lost over 320 lbs and went to him to get some skin removed. I have had issues and he refused to leave until I was stable 17hrs (6am- 11pm), 2 operation.
