Dr. Schmalz is extremely kind and professional. I came from out of town to see him again. My procedure went very smoothly with an easy recovery. His staff were very nice and attentive to my needs. Happy Retirement, Dr. Schmalz! ??

Great!! Dr Schmalz is very Patience when it comes to helping someone! Listen very deeply for what I was saying! I had lost a lot of weight and also was losing my hair. I actually felt like I was dying! After explaining to Dr Schmalz my symptoms he tried me on a medication that truely helped me! I might be on this med for life but I’m gonna be fine with that! Dr Schmalz took the time to listen to me and I am so Great full to him for everything he has done not only me but my other Family Members!!!

Dr. Schmalz is awesome. He has the greatest bedside manner, answers all my questions thoroughly and is very gently when doing procedures. I’ve recommended him numerous times over the years and would continue if it weren’t for his upcoming retirement. Best wishes to you Dr. Schmalz. Have lots of fun in your retirement!

I love Dr Schmalz. His nurses and techs are amazing. Anesthesia provider was awesome. Great experience even for a not-so-fun procedure. No poop shaming here!!!

I’ve seen Dr. Schmalz on numerous occasions over the years, and have always found him helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable. I just had a colonoscopy/ endoscopy and he explained everything from the first until he’d done it and had my results. He was thorough and informative. I think he’s excellent.

Brilliant Doctor. He was referred by a very good friend. This morning, I had my first endoscopy and colonoscopy with Dr. Schmalz, he is careful, thorough in his examination, very experienced and precise. He got a wonderful team behind him from the reception to the nurses and associates. My arm was dehydrated, my veins shot, the nurse got me “the best in the team” to help find the right vein in no time for my drip "Amazing!". Thank you Doctor, in helping us prevent colon cancer! I'm Grateful!

The doctor was very courteous and professional, but the receptionist who checked me in was rude and kind of obnoxious. Because of her I will never return to GI Associates. I mean come on lady, your job is to interact with patients, at the very least pretend to have some common courtesy.
