If zero were an option.
I was suffering from classic CSF leak symptoms and even said I suspected a leak. I was suffering in severe pain. He was condescending and asked if I had seen a neurosurgeon. I was given a head CT (which will not show a leak) and told to follow up with neurology and ENT (it takes months to get in). I was given nothing for pain. I ended up back in the ER 2 days later and admitted then transferred to higher level of care for…A SPONTANEOUS CSF LEAK. Like I had originally said. My suffering has been great and I’m still in the midst of it. Because of his delayed treatment and knowledge of how or what diagnostic tests to order I had to needlessly spend extra days in the hospital waiting for a blood patch.
