Just saw Dr. Pfleger for bowel leakage. He did nothing but do an MRI and labs. He said that there was nothing wrong and that if I had numbness in my groin to come back. I said that I did have numbness and he said oh if it gets worse to come back in. I will not be going back there. This is the 5th time that myself or a family member has been to Honor Health and was treated poorly and got no sense of comfort.

I hate to give him even 1 star. Dr. Pfleger shouldn't be a doctor. He is dismissive, arrogant, condescending and rude. My 17 year old son has had high fevers of 104 off and on for the past 90 days. 60 days prior we went to a covid testing site and had him tested. They lost his test so we did it again. It was negative. Our pediatrician wasn't convinced because there's such a high number of false negatives. He's been on 3 antibiotics and tested negative for strep and mono. Because of Covid my son's pediatrician told me to go to the ER to rule out some things. Dr. Pfleger didn't want to do anything. He barely looked in his throat and didn't listen to his lungs, feel his spleen, or basically do anything doctors do. I asked for another doctor when a nurse came in and the doctor came back and agreed to do bloodwork and a CT. He refused to do a Covid test. He only answered with yes and no and wouldn't explain anything.

I took my 2 year old to Scottsdale Shea’s ER where he saw Dr. Pfleger. He went in with 104 fever, cough, vomiting, ad diarrhea. After seeing the doctor, he told me my child seemed fine and didn’t see the need to do any lab work. I told him i wanted lab work done and a flu swab for peace of mind. He came in and told me he think it was an emergency and that this could wait. I told im it may not be an emergency to him, however, it was to me since we’re talking about my child. Finally, he agreed to order blood work for us but that he wasn’t going to start an IV and and we had to wait in the lobby for results because It was a very busy day in the ER don’t see the need for us to be taking up a bed. He is extremely rude and overall the worst doctor I’ve ever dealt with. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

Talk about a bad situation made worse! I was in severe pain from the bursting of cysts (that other doctors confirmed earlier in the night) and had the misfortune of having Plfeger take over my time there. He was so rude, flat out told me I was “having a bad period,” and was extremely degrading. I am a woman of color and this guy clearly didn’t believe that I was in pain. He then accused me of faking the pain because I wanted narcotics! Sad excuse for a doctor and a waste of space for a human

Dr. Pfleger was my husband's dr when we were rushed to the ER last July. He may be the smartest guy in the room but had the most terrible bedside manner I've ever seen. He was abrupt, rude & flatly told us there was a good chance my husband would die that night. We knew it was a very serious situation but the way he delivered such news was uncaring & cold. The nurses recognized his failings in this area & shooed him out, explaining things politely, clearly,& humanely. Would NEVER recommend !!

Dr Pfleger was nice and prompt, however I came into the ER with severe pain, caused by a kidney stone, and left with severe pain. I told the nurse multiple times and she said the doctor prescribed medicine. I waited another hour, in severe pain, to get the prescription filled. Once taking the pain medication, the pain never let up. After consulting with other doctors, I was informed that I was prescribed the weakest narcotic pain medicine available. I think this is bad judgement.
