Knowledgeable, Caring, Trustworthy
Dr. Mike was my son's and daughter's pediatrician from birth until 18 and he is wonderful! He was always attentive, caring and honest. I knew he ALWAYS had their best interests at heart! My baby was six months old when my mom died unexpectedly. When we got back from Kentucky, of course it had to be late on Friday afternoon, the baby spiked a 103-degree fever. I was exhausted and devasted and was not up to facing an emergency room. I called the office, and they worked her in. I always felt respected and heard and never wavered in knowing that Dr. Mike would always do his best for my kiddos! Thank you, Dr. Mike!

Easy-going, knowledgeable pediatrician
I have 4 kids and they all love Dr. Perlstein. He uses playful techniques to make medical observations. It’s brilliant because they are compliant being examined and comfortable. He’s called more than once after an appt to check in on my kids. He is knowledgeable and I trust his medical judgment. I highly recommend him.

Will never trust him around my kids again!
He neglected to run the tests we asked for and then my son ended up hospitalized with the very thing I was worried about. I also had to have a talk with my daughter about safe touch after our appointment because he kept running his fingers through her hair. It’s been weeks and I still have a pit in my stomach after interacting with this man. Something about him is not right!

Fantastic Pediatrician!
He was my kids pediatrician from birth to 18, and always had their best interests and health at heart! Although I am not a fan of Phoenix Children’s, they are very blessed to have Dr. Mike and I hope that they appreciate having such a caring, knowledgeable professional!

medically gaslit me and dismissed every concern
He was my pediatrician for most all of my childhood and throughout those visits I was ALWAYS medically gaslit and dismissed. Never once considered running any sort of tests or anything. My pain was never relevant and he told me that my issues with menstruation were due to being fat. I actually have Endometriosis and my pain throughout childhood was due to hypermobilty joint syndrome. I really hope he actually listens to his patients now.

He is amazing!!! Firt time mom of triplets and he has kept me calm and my kids healthy. He has always been kind, patient, knowledgeable and all around an amazing doc!!! Highly recommend!
