Dr. Michael Pensak, MD

Dr. Pensak performed trigger finger and elbow tendon reattachment surgeries. Both were successful without complications. Dr. Pensak has always listened to my concerns & I have never felt rushed. Hopefully I won’t need the expertise of Dr. Pensak again, but if I do I wouldn’t hesitate.

I unfortunately broke my ankle this week and was at the mercy of whatever doctor was the on call Orthopedic and with my luck, it was Dr. Pensak. While I only had my surgery yesterday, Dr. Pensak’s professionalism and bedside manner is second to none and it left me confident going into surgery that he knew what he was doing and that I will be walking around soon enough! I had my own commitments, which I really hoped he could see me the same day and he added yet another surgery to the end of his already long day to fit me in. You’re in good hands!

My husband had hand surgery Dr. Pensak is AMAZING !! Nicest down to earth DR. for sure ! he actually talks to you like you know him for years... I had a shoulder injection , never felt a thing!!

Great doctor! I went to the ER with a really bad infection in my index finger on my dominant right hand. I was admitted and placed on IV antibiotics. By the luck of the draw, I got Dr Pensak as my surgeon. I needed an I&D and ran the risk of losing my finger. Dr Pensak was thorough, detailed, and even played music in the surgical suite to relax me. As horrible as it looked, his care was so successful it has healed beautifully. If you have. Any issues that need treatment, I would unhesitatingly recommend him. His nurse Tiffany was also kind and informative as well.

I am a 71 year old woman who fell and broke my wrist, tripping on a curb. It was a severe break needing two surgeries. Dr Pensak offered me a choice of nerve block to eliminate pain after surgery and did a phenomenal job, because today, the final stitches were removed and after some physical therapy, it will be good as new. The incision is barely visible. His assistant, Tiffany, was also great at putting me at ease when she removed the stitches. Highly recommend him for hand surgery.

I have had two successful hand surgeries by Dr Pensak over the past few years: one for trigger thumb and the other trigger ring finger. Dr Pensak is kind, calm and very knowledgeable in his field. I am a retired orthopedic nurse and I have the utmost of trust in Dr Pensak.

Dr. Pensak and his staff understood my concerns regarding my wrist. His knowledge of his specialty identified the problem, the causes and what solutions were available to me. Opting for carpal tunnel surgery, he explained what the surgery would entail, what type of results I could expect. The surgery was performed in an efficient and comfortable manner. Follow-up care was excellent also. My results were even better than expected.

Dr. Pensak was very patient and kind with me through the process of my surgery. I have anxiety disorder but he made me feel so much at ease. He did such a great job on my hand surgery. After Breaking my Clavicle, was referred to Dr. Michael Pensak and his wonderful team, especially his surgical assistant, Tiffany who is a joy. Not only is the surgery / fracture (Multiple Plates, Screws, and Wires) healing well and therapy is working, but I also look forward to going to their office, which runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone you speak with is pleasant and helpful. Dr. Pensak is friendly, has an outstanding bedside manner, and puts everything into layman's terms, so you can understand what the procedure is going to be, therapy and recovery will look like, and gives you a sense of calm throughout the entire experience. Dr. Pensak also operated on my 80 year old mother's arm (Fractured in 3 places) and she has recovered 100%. Should you need surgery, I highly recommend this fine physician!

I had thumb surgery for arthritis. Dr. Pensak explained the procedure, answered all my questions. He was honest about the pain & length of time, including physical therapy for recovery. He was always professional, as was his staff. I have & will continue to recommend Dr. Pensak.

BEYOND EXCELLENT! I fell at work & Dr Pensak’s office took me immediately. Wrist was broken in 2 places needing surgery with a plate & screws. All post op questions were answered & staff members friendly, helpful & quickly returned all my calls. Surgical Coordinator Billie & assistant Tiffany are superb. Surgical center very clean & staff professional. COVID protocols - top notch! I am rating Dr Pensak very highly because he is: 1) a great listener & explains things well. 2) very pleasant & cares about you. 3) professional & puts your mind at ease and knows his specialty. A wonderful surgeon & my scar from incision is not even visible! Everything exceeded my expectations & I am forever grateful for all the great care I received. He is more than highly recommended.

Dr. Pensak is easily one of the best surgeons in his industry. He repaired my severely injured and lacerated hand without a glimpse of uncertainty of its’ future functionality. His knowledge and expertise in the field is simply remarkable, while his calming and caring bedside manner is unmatched. Not once did I feel like just another patient or case. He continues to work tirelessly with me on my road to recovery, always setting aside time to answer any questions and extremely responsive to any inquiries outside of the office. It amazes me to say that only 2 months out from surgery, I have zero restrictions with my hand, a milestone expected to take up to 7-9 months, and Dr. Pensak is completely to thank!

I broke my wrist in the late fall and went to Dr. Pensak in early December. My surgery was scheduled for a few days later. Now my wrist feels like new! I had very little postop pain and a rapid recovery. I’m very grateful to Dr. Pensak and his very professional office staff.
