I have been going to Dr. Patterson for about 5 years. I had 10hour scoliosis surgery which corrected my curve, but left me with new pain from cutting the rhomboid muscle. Dr. Patterson was so kind and compassionate. His technique is impeccable. I had back injections for 15 years prior to my surgery..they were epidurals.. at another clinic.. those procedures were so painful. But Dr. Patterson's technique doesn't hurt...both trigger points and under fluoroscopy.. It is hard to get an appointment due to him visiting other cities to aid other people. PS.. Sue, the secretary is wonderful.

Very complete and thorough! Very friendly and caring. I went to Dr. Patterson because my back and neck pain was awful. I did not want to rely on oral medications and needed to discuss alternatives. Dr. Patterson listened to everything I had to say and offered e the alternatives. He has been very successful with my treatment and his staff is great.

I saw Dr. Patterson for a facet nerve block procedure. I was supposed to have a consultation first which was canceled the week prior to my appointment because he was on vacation (it took me almost 3 months to get this appt). I went ahead and kept the nerve block appointment and when I met with Dr. Patterson I indicated to him that I don't respond well to anesthesia. I informed him that in having similar procedures in the past, I've required additional "numbing shots" and that the shots took a while to kick in / numb me. When I received the numbing shots, there was not an adequate period of time between the shots and the injections. I was in terrible pain. I told him it hurt and asked if it was supposed to hurt that much. His response was "It looks fine to me". I was sobbing in pain. He never once asked if I was ok, and didn't even look at me after the procedure let alone come to check on me in recovery. Terrible bedside manner, and total disregard for patient consideration.

Dr. Patterson is an amazingly talented clinician. He is compassionate, kind and has tremendous skills at intervening with pain. Last week every step I took was full of pain. Friday, he injected my R SI joint and I am so thankful for his skills! I have no pain on that side. Even the L side seems better. I would recommend him highly as the best in the business in my opinion.

Dr Patterson is great and very knowledgeable, however, his staff nurse(Paula) leaves a lot to be desired. Over a week now and I can't even get a return phone call after leaving several messages. Dr Patterson performed a procedure on me a few weeks ago. He instructed me to call the following Monday and let him know the results. All I ever get is Paula's voicemail and no return calls. Paula doesn't seem to understand that people in severe pain can't wait weeks for a response.

My experience with Dr, Patterson and Staff has been wonderful. I have been diagnosed with AVN of femur and the pain for almost a year has been unbearable . Since seeing this practice starting in November of 2015 ,This second injection so far has been great. I am hopeful and grateful for the minimal level of pain at this time .I have had remarkable pain relief . Thank you Dr, Patterson and staff! I have already recommended this practice to several of my friends .
