Only if you want a backwards hip
Dr Nuzzo performed a right full hip replacement for me in 2019. Unfortunately, he is spatially challenged and put it in backwards. Not surprising I could not walk correctly and required a revision. For three years, I went between a wheelchair, a walker and a cane. I was told if I move the wrong way the whole structure could collapse. He had the audacity to blame it on me and my unfit bones. Bone density test showed me to be in the normal range.

I was so fortunate to have Dr. Nuzzo!!! On 1-4-24 I fell in my bathroom and fx my rt femur. On 1-5-24 Dr. Nuzzo did an ORIF on my leg. I live in Colorado Springs and Dr. Nuzzo was helping out at St. Francis Hospital. I've been in the medical field for 37 yrs and I'm saying he is a true blessing to anyone who is fortunate to have him. I so so appreciate him. Thank youKatre Roland.

Hip Replacement
I am forever grateful to Dr. Nuzzo for my hip replacements. My left hip was replaced in April 2022 and my right hip replacement was September 2023. Prior to these surgeries, I was in a constant pain day & night. I could barely maneuver myself for walking or to perform simple daily task. Dr. Nuzzo was compassionate and caring from day one and assured me that life would get better and it has. I highly recommend Dr. Nuzzo and I greatly appreciate his professionalism, how he easily explained what was going on with my hips and listening to you as the patient. Thank you Dr. Nuzzo.

Rotator cuff repair
Dr. Nuzzo is informative, I did not feel rushed with him, he took his time and answered all my questions. I know others have gone to him with knee and hip surgery and all had great outcomes. I had every confidence in him and his skills, no complaints.

Rotator Cuff
Dr. Nuzzo repaired my torn rotator cuff. He did an excellent job. His personality is pretty straight forward and I’m fine with that. He answered all my questions and I felt confident in him and the procedure.

Excellent Surgeon and Overall Experience
Dr. Nuzzo performed shoulder joint replacement surgery on my right side in April 2023. All pre/post appointments and the surgery itself exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic needs.

Excellent Surgeon!
Dr. Nuzzo performed my left knee meniscus tear repair/arthroscopic surgery over 8 years ago in Fresno. It was an unbelievably easy recovery and I experienced very little swelling, bruising or pain and did not need any pain medication after the first day or two, nor did I require any physical therapy afterward. I was in my early 50’s, in good health and on no medications. That knee has been 100% since. Now, I am hoping he is available and willing to work on my right knee! I highly recommend Dr. Nuzzo for his state-of-the-art, knowledgeable and professional approach to medicine/diagnosis/treatment/surgery and his personable & caring demeanor, as well as that of all his staff.

I am always 20-30 minutes early for appointments because I respect others time. The doctor saw me exactly 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time. So I waited 1.5 hours. There was no apology or explanation as to what caused the 1 hour delay.

I came in with a dislocated shoulder and really torn up labrum from a mountain bike accident. Dr. Nuzzo was able to see me with in a day, when a different place wanted me to suffer in pain for a month before seeing a doctor. Dr. Nuzzo was also able to schedule surgery within the week and repair the extensive damage in my shoulder. Everything healed well and I only have tinny visible scars. He was understanding that I wanted to be back to normal and back on the bike as soon as possible and helped me get there. I am super happy and grateful to be fixed up. After successful surgery and lots of PT I am not in pain and have almost 100% of my should function restored at 5 months.

Dr. Nuzzo has a great reputation in town for being the person to fix my shoulder. I’ve had several friends go to him to get fixed and they all had nothing but good things to say. After seeing him and having surgery in my opinion he lives up to his reputation. I’m very happy with how the experience is giong.

I had a VERY BAD experience with Dr Nuzzo. He preformed a meniscus tear repair. At our 2 week appointment he told me to do what I wanted. He did not communicate in any way that healing needed to take place over a little time and I should return to activities slowly. My knee blew up and I had weeks of intense pain. When I asked him about it he was defensive and rude. HE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO TALK TO, and will not answer questions in any sort of meaningful or complete way. Darcy Thole

Our daughter tore her ACL on her left knee about 5 years ago while playing softball. Dr Nuzzo reconstructed her ACL and has never had any problems. So when she tore her right ACL while playing JC softball we got online to search for Dr Nuzzo. We drove an hour and a half to one of his offices, in Watsonville, CA. We are confident this surgery will have the same outcome as the first. Thank you Dr Nuzzo!

I had surgery on my right shoulder because of a torn rotator in October 2020. I am feeling much better and it’s only been 8 weeks! Thanks Dr. Nuzzo! I especially appreciate how Dr Nuzzo took time to answer my questions pre and post surgery. He even brought his laptop to the appointment to show me the results of the MRI. I look forward to getting back to doing the things I enjoy most. I highly recommend the Ortho-NorCal team. I have been going to their PT office and also have received superior care there. Thank you Dr Nuzzo!

I fell off my garage roof, hurting my leg. I was an ER/trauma RN at the tertiary hospital in Sacramento for 13 years so I knew I would be ok. I came wanting reassurance that my injury was healing well and that I could participate in water sports. I liked Dr. Nuzzo because he is intelligent, educated, calm, patient, articulate and caring. He showed me the tibial fracture on the x-ray and found my ankle fracture that the prior provider had missed. I'm very grateful that I had minimal injury and I'm grateful that I met Dr. Nuzzi and can fully trust his medical expertise. I highly recommend him and his office staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful.
