After recovering from a long cold, my ears remained plugged even though my nose was clear. I'd told Dr. Murphy that I'd already tried nasal sprays and they didn't work. He still insisted that the problem would be solved with a nasal spray. Well, lo and behold it didn't work and I was forced to go through the holidays barely being able to hear anyone. My ears are still clogged but apparently he's now out for several weeks and none of the other doctors will see me because I'm "Dr. Murphy's patient." I'm a person, not a territorial dispute. Absolutely ridiculous.

In Person Appointment - Rushed and Unattended to
In person, I arrived for my appointment and waited 45 minutes for Dr. Murphy. I initially submitted a survey and met with a speech pathologist, who was nice. However, nothing beyond the survey was useful at all. The survey alone said I had 'stomach' issues that could trigger my nasal and throat issues - I knew this already and had visited a GI. The speech pathologist conducted a nasal endoscopy, which confirmed my excess secretions but eliminated laryngeal issues. Dr. Murphy then entered for around 5 minutes and said 'you should see a GI.' I told him I had for months, and he stressed that I should see the GI again. I shared other symptoms I had, but he disqualified them as not being relevant... Dr. Murphy presented as a physician does not really care about his patients. I felt completely unattended to, my symptoms and issues unheard, and pawned off. After this experience, I was also charged a four figure sum for essentially anti-care - everything seemed like a waste of time.

Really poor diagnosis
I went complaining from problems with my ears. He suggested using nasal sprays for possible sinus congestion, P.S.: I never had sinus problems. Couple weeks after my visit, I was out of country and had a real bad experience of fainting and losing balance. Now back home, I will have to visit another specialist

I sat and waited for him about an hour and he never showed up. My appointment was 12:30 he showed up 1:30. He came in with an attitude telling me that he had an emergency. When I was walked into the room I saw him sitting in his office so I did not understand what kind of emergency he was talking. He didn't review my chart and he was rude and intimidating. I felt as if he was about to attack me. He then told me that it was best for me to leave. I reported him to Standford Hospital.
