Dr. Michael Moutsatson, DO

A few months ago I went to get an old rotator cuff injury checked out, that I have never presented to a physician. Before seeing him I went to get x-rays, 3 if I recall correctly. I waited to see the doctor, and once in mention what was wrong with my shoulder. My shoulder grinds, clicks, pops during rotation and at times feels like something is being pinched. He never took the time to physically cup the shoulder to see what I was talking about. Then a strength test was taken followed by a talk with the physician, which he claimed I had great strength in that shoulder for the overall test, with only loosing 1 or 2 points. This test and talk lasted around 7 mins total, which felt severely rushed and provided no new information, just rephrased what I told him into technical terms. X-rays were never brought up or showed to talk about. Lastly, got provided a local PT list for strength training, which did nothing for the shoulder. Months later shoulder still has the previous issues.

Dr. Moutsatson is kind, respectful and a good listener. He presented options (I have osteoarthritis in both hips; not a candidate for surgery yet) but let me make my own decision. I trust him.

Dr. Moutsatson was excellent. He provided efficient, conscientious and appropriate care for my torn meniscus and ACL. He was very professional and my outcome has been fantastic. Very responsive to any and all of my questions both before and after surgery.
