I was referred to Dr Moran by the hospital patient advocate. It was explained that he “did backs all day, every day” but didn’t jump straight to surgery. In my case, Dr Moran was straightforward and to the point without being short. He answered all of my questions and established a plan of treatment. I was very happy with everyone at the office. I arrived early as instructed and was taken back to the treatment room right in time. Seems to be a very efficient operation.

Dr. Moran made me feel at ease by listening to my concerns and the history of my condition. We were able to discuss the remedies for my situation and that alone made me feel I had made the right choice. Dr. Moran performed the operation that was needed to fix my chronic problem. He assured me that if I would be in need of more intervention, he would see me for another evaluation. It is a nice feeling to know he will be there in the future. He leaves you with the feeling that all is better.

I have an appointment with doctor Moran next week. Several years ago I was referred to him for my lower back pain which I had suffered with for over 30 years. I had been a patient of several neurologists and had been diagnosed with degenerative DISK disease. Dr. Moran ordered an MRI and made an appointment for consult. I met with him, he showed me the MRI and diagnosed me as having sanovial cist on my lower spine. I went in for out patient removal two days later. No back pain since.

Dr Moran does lack some small talk skills , but i was not here for talking. lol. My life is wonderful now, before surgery i was in bed for 6 months and could barely walk and had to use a bed pan. I am so thankful we have a great neurosugeon in such a small town.

Awesome doc. Fixed me up 10 years ago. The bedside manor is a little lacking. However if you want your back fixed by the best, this is the man to see!

This was the worse experience I have ever had with any doctor. Never did he ask or give me an opportunity to even talk about my pain! Basic said I'm fine just arthritis and it was going to hurt.... I'm 33yrs old.Sending me out to get Physical therapy and no follow up with him. Thanks for your wonderful bedside manner and all 5 minutes of your time!!! Sad part is I spent more time filling out all the paperwork for 30 minutes to only get 5 minutes of time with this doctor! Terrible experience!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Moran?
Dr. Maran was dismissive of my chronic neck pain because my cervical herniated disk in my MRI did not appear to be severe. He offered to do a fusion if I wanted but said he would not do it if it were him. He recommended I get an epidural steroid injection but did not explain the procedure or what it would entail. When I called his office a week later about the possibility of being referred to a pain clinic he had his nurse tell me that he did not believe my pain was that bad.
