Very experienced, good bedside manner. Explains condition. Conveyed confidence in his medical decision. Called in the evening personally to do a follow up after surgery to see how I was doing. Not the night of, but the second night which was appropriate as this is when it would have been most troublesome. Did not suggest surgery until the situation warranted it and I was comfortable with the decision. Foot surgery is often a how long can you live with it situation.
