The Best!!!
I had Spinal Fusion with Dr. Mills Dec 11, 2023, after trying everything possible to avoid surgery. Leading up to surgery, some days my pain level, on a scale of 1-10, was 15-18. Post surgery, Dec 12, 2023, my pain level was at a level 2. No pain in the back or legs, however, discomfort from surgery. If you are looking for a great, compassionate, and professional surgeon your search is over. Please schedule an appt with Dr. Mills…he’s the BEST!

I had a compression fracture in April 2022 with multiple tumor on my spine. I waited a month before deciding to get the surgery and I became paralysed. I couldn't walk anymore. I put Dr Mills in my prayer that God would use his hands to do the surgery on my spine and indeed he did. I give glory to the almighty for using Dr Mills for healing my spine in Jesus Christ name. Dr Mills has been an excellent Dr, and he knows his job. Now I'm walking again. Laura

Definitely a SPINE SURGEON.
I met Dr Mills in January of 2022. Suffering from a herniated disc in my lower lumbar region that was persistent pain even after 2 lumbar epidural steroid injections and 12 sessions of physical therapy. The pain was beginning to literally slow me down and I found myself not able to bend or sometimes walk or stand. In July of 2022, he performed a lumbar fusion surgery on my lower back and gave me back my life literally. He suggested I wear a lumbar belt which I did for 6 months to help fuse the bones together but it’s amazing how I no longer need a cane and can walk long distances again. I’m even back to swimming! I’m lucky and blessed to have met Dr Mills . He always explained the procedures and I was always comfortable. Always to wait on him was totally beneficial and worth it. . I am Proof!!. A spine surgeon he is! Thank you Dr Mills .

Well, I have tried to see Dr. Mills twice with out luck, the first time I arrive for my appointment only to be told he was in surgery, ok I can accept that. The second time, I waited 1 hour and thirty five minutes, I finally had enough so I Politely walked out; as I was leaving the nursing assistant asked me was I leaving, Yes my time is Valuable, I said. To make matters worst everybody was at lunch. I felt the doctor should have at least poke his head in the room to say I’m running behind schedule or something. I was told he was a good doctor but I would never know. Now to find a doctor who has a better administrative staff and better Appreciation of one’s time.

I’m on your a**Dr Mills.TERRIBLE ALL AROUND.Disregarded everything I told him my body was feeling. Asked him for an MRI, insisted I didn’t need one as well as trying to tell me they were expensive instead of listening to what I said (Mind you I have insurance) .Claiming nothing would come back on the MRI. Results come back and find numerous findings in my back.AS WELL AS TELLING ME I DIDN’T NEED AN X RAY ON MY HIPS ”There’s nothing wrong with your hips”. I FORCED HIM AGAIN JUST LIKE THE MRI. Mind you I had someone on the phone to have a witness present. He got the x ray results came in and told me and my father (who was on the phone as my witness) that my hips we “normal”.But as I’m leaving gives me a paper that says “bilateral hip impingement”in the diagnosis. THAT DOESN’T SOUND NORMAL TO ME.I went back up to the practice to confront him but he wasn’t there. If things were normal there would be no diagnosis. The negligence is ridiculous and the fact that I called 7x and no call back!

While I strongly believe that Dr. Mills is a great Doctor, I am having difficult scheduling an appointment because no one answers his business telephone line. It has been six days trying. I would have left a message, but the voicemail box is full. I wonder if he is aware of the service his office is providing. Why leave messages if no one is checking them daily? The mailbox is full as of 10:30 am on Monday, July 15th.

I met Dr. Michael Mills at Doctors Community Hospital in March of 2019 because I broke my ankle. Every day Dr. Michael checked up on me and assured me that everything was going to be alright. He explained what he was going to do to my ankle and what to expect after surgery. He was professional, listens to my concerns, confident, and very knowledgeable about orthopedics. Three months later the cast came off and I was given the boot to walk around with. Now look at me I can walk on my own. Thanks you for everything! Did I tell you he specialize in orthopedic of the spine.
