Dr Miller likes to hear himself talk
He walked out of the second appointment we had together. He became angry that I wasn't listening to him which is not true. I was nervous about the procedure and had questions. He kept pushing me towards certain direction which I was not comfortable with. He was very curt with me when he just should have explained better. He was expecting me to trust him after meeting just once and him talking the entire appointment telling me what he was going to do without asking me what I wanted. He left me hanging a week before surgery to remove my cancer. I think this was a pretty lousy thing to do.

Dr. Miller did a great job on the first part of my breast cancer reconstruction. But is too too busy to finish the job. Had to wait for months, and start payin another 5000 dollar deductible on my teacher health plan because he was too busy in June (which was 5 months after my first surgery). Said he could do it in Oct. but then when I called to confirm it was on the wrong dates in October. Dr. Miller originally told me in January 2022 before he did my Flap breast surgery that we would finish the job on my breast in a few months but then when I met with him in March he said he was too busy in May and June. I am a teacher and my new $5000 deductible started in July but I thought okay I guess this is all I can do because I wanted the same surgeon to finish the job. He said he could do it on the week I am off in October. I called in May to tell his office the dates we talked about. They called me in June to tell me the dates but is was not the week or dates I had given him or the office. His nurse said they would change it. When I called to confirm the date I found out they scheduled it for the Friday before I went back to work. (I have a week off in Oct. for Fall recess. Originally he had said that he could do it in the beginning of the week so I could recuperate without having to call in sick since I was off that week. His office told me he was out of town that week and could only do it on Friday. He had told me I needed the week to rest before going back to work. After I called to find out about the surgery yesterday the nurse told me that he wanted to talk with me and set up a telehealth appointment. Then when he came on the call today he asked, "What can I help you with?" and he acted as though he didn't know who I was or when I last saw him. He couldn't remember anything about me, when i last saw him, what we discussed, etc. I decided to get someone else. He did a great job on the Flap part but don't expect him to finish the job or at least expect to keep reminding him about why you want the second part of the surgery. He obviously doesn't read his notes or write any. My next call is to Banner MD Anderson at Banner University Phoenix to tell my oncologist surgeon to stop recommending him. I trusted her judgement because she is awesome but I cannot believe she recommended him.
