If I could give less than 1 star I would. Bedside manner was horrible and im still going through surgeries to fix what he did.

Unfortunately the experience that I had at North State Orthopaedics would never rank above a single star review. The main reason for that ranking is Dr. Mikulecky. It's one thing to have zero beside manners, but it's another thing to have zero bedside manners and be a poor surgeon. I'm perplexed at how Dr. Mikulecky can assess the progress of a broken ankle with a plate and 6 screws without taking a follow up X-rays, visually or physically inspecting the ankle, or asking how the ankle feels. Dr. Mikulecky's inability to communicate or ask questions can be compared to talking to a brick wall. Adding to the frustration was arriving on time to the appointment but having to wait an hour to see Dr. Mikulecky. I'm still confused as to why so many different medical practices epically fail to "close the deal" so to speak; when the appointment is done, how hard is it to walk the patient back to the scheduling desk? Leaving a patient to figure out what’s next is just poor customer service!

Worst expirence I’ve ever had, and every dr I’ve seen and talked to about him since then all say the same exact thing he’s horrific. He threatened to drop me as a patient for needing anti nausea medication, he made my girlfriend cry, and his assistant is even worse than him. He’s arrogant and ignorant. I till this day and before I met hi, have never had such a horrific expirence with a dr let alone hear the horrible things about him from other people in the same profession. Do not see him ever..

So far it has been horrible with no communication and Dr. Mikulecky is a jerk. I had a tib fib compound fracture and nothing has gone right and he just blows it off like nothing is a big deal because he doesnt give a damn.

I had knee surgery and was told " I slapped a couple screws and some wire in there! I wanted the wire out but it was so tight I just left it in, eventually some day your gonna want that outta there!" So, here I am, at OHSU in Oregon because medical services in Redding are inferior. I think Dr.'s like these should be stopped from performing complex surgery. I had no choice at the time I was in the ER but I wish I did. It wouldn't be this doctor. Office was filthy.

I've seen more doctors and had more surgeries than most people undergo in a lifetime. I have never had a all around worse expirence than I did with this doctor and his so called assistant. He's rude, arrogant, ignorant, and to top it all off a horrible doctor. Not only did they mess everything up for me one at a time, he called me a liar multiple times. I cannot believe he's allowed to practice. Please do yourself a favor and go absolutely anywhere else to any other doctor.
