Disappointing initial consultation. The doctor was unable to fully address my concerns or provide a clear treatment plan tailored to my situation. His proposed diagnosis seemed inconsistent with my symptoms, yet he suggested aggressive treatments like surgery and injections. When I asked for clarification on the severity of the tear, he appeared frustrated, giving the impression that he was uncomfortable with detailed questions from patients.

Dr Miao is extremely knowledgeable caring and personable. He explains in great detail your options and I would highly recommend him.

My first appointment with Dr Miao was yesterday and from the Front desk staff to the back office, Check out everyone was amazing very kind and wait time was less then 20 min. Dr Miao was absolutely amazing so kind and attentive. I had had severe knee pain for 3 month and desperately trying to get relief . He was very sure to go over all my options he was able to drain my knee and I am all ready set up with Physical Therapy. I would highly recommend Dr Miao and his staff definitely glad I found him.

Dr. Miao is the consummate professional. He studied my MRI, had me view it as he explained in detail the injury I have, and prescribed the appropriate treatment before I would undergo surgery.Dr. Miao was an excellent communicator, treated me well and with much respect, and answered all of the questions I had in regard to the injury.I’ve had to see a number of doctors and specialists since I moved here 7 years ago; I’ve been blessed to see mostly excellent ones in my visits, but my experience with Dr. Miao may have been the best of the group (and that’s a very high compliment).

I went over the timeline of my injuries with the MA. I had a fall in Dec. 2023 and another in March 2024. Dr. Miao reviewed my MRI of my knee done in Jan 2024 after the first injury and as he was doing so I tried to ask a question and he was angry that I interrupted him. He said there is nothing wrong with my knee structurally then I asked what would cause the redness and swelling under my knee and his exact words were “maybe you need to see a dermatologist”. He didn’t take into consideration that I had another fall after the MRI and he was very condescending. Seeing Dr. Miao was a complete waste of my time and money not to mention being talkeddown to by a physician is completely unprofessional.

Dr Miao listened to my description of my knee condition, reviewed my x-rays, examined my knee motion, then quickly and clearly laid out my options. He repaired my shoulder 10 years ago so I had full range of motion again. I have the highest regard his diagnostic skills and his surgical abilities. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Miao seems to have a good impressive experience, confident, knows well what he’s doing and very professional. He provides a very good explanation and I had a quick diagnosis on my x-ray.

Dr Miao presented as the ultimate professional with his evaluation, examination, explanation and thorough discussion of all potential treatments with associated benefits and risks. A joint decision was decided on how to proceed considering all options. So glad I made the appointment!

Dr. Miao was extremely thoughtful and kind. He is extremely thorough and extremely conscientious. Would recommend his services to any of my friends and fanily.

I had pretty high hopes coming in. I was looking for peace of mind and guidance on my knee pain. That is not what I received. He was very short and did not provide any information on what might be wrong, possible outcomes or treatment plans, just gave me a PT referral and when I asked a follow up question about what’s next he said he “didn’t have a crystal ball”. Okay, fair, but you’re supposed to be an authority in this area, given my symptoms and x-rays, a crumb of a clue of what’s going on and what to expect would have been so nice. Even if the answer is “it’s too early to tell, XYZ is the next step” nope, just a shrug and left. I felt like my pain didn’t matter, or he thought I was making it up. I felt worse when I left than before I stepped in. Will not be returning to see Dr. Miao. The office staff on the other hand were exceedingly kind, warm and helpful.

Doctor was very informative and very gentle with me. Even when giving me shots in both knees.

Dr Miao is very rude and doesn’t care about the patient he never answers your questions he doesn’t explain anything he just wants to put money in his pocket

Dr. Miao is very professional and knowledgeable with great bedside manner. He thoroughly asked and checked all aspects of my knee issue. The office was inviting and all interactions with staff were great. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with how quickly I was seen when I got to the office. The doctor was honest with me about everything and gave me options for follow up care. When I left the office I felt taken care of and was told to expect a call in the next couple days to schedule follow up care. I ended up being called the same day and was able to schedule everything I needed for the next day.

Dr. Miao was very compassionate and spoke to my daughter not just to me. He explained his opinion carefully and made sure she was included. He could have recommended surgery for profit but did not. Very kind and patient. I highly recommend Dr Miao.

I would definitely recommend Dr.Miao. He was so professional and explained everything to me in a manner that I could understand. Dr. Miao then gave me my opinions for treatment and told me to think about it, and when I was ready to call his office with my decision. My overall experience was great.

Everyone listens to the patient. They all have a very positive, caring attitude. They explained everything they were doing and what to expect as the process continues. Dr Miao and Tiffany took the time to make sure that they answered all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Miao is very knowledgable and took time to explain everything that I was having problems with. He gave me a few options and the one I picked at this time has helped a great deal. I would highly recommend him.
