Dr. Michael McMahan, MD

Excellent usually. My problem is my medication refill not sent to pharmacy. This has happened a few times. Like always have to wait through the weekend to call office. I go for pain management and going without my medication for a few days really sucks.

We didn't mind Dr. McMahan at first. Followed him to several different offices. He is constantly moving. He did make a medical mistake that could have been bad. He has terrible office hours and its almost impossible to see him now. His staff is absolutely terrible. They don't do our referrals timely. The last one took them 6 months. They always blame moving offices for their problems. Finally left him and have been waiting 6 months for our records transfer. Still waiting. Inexcusable.

New in town, I needed to find a dr. that could continue my medical needs, of which I have a lot going on, and somewhat complicated conditions. I am so thankful I found Dr. McMahan! He is probably the best physician I've had care for me, after being diagnosed by Mayo Clinic.

Dr. McMahan was my PCM (as well as my husband's) for several years. He routinely ignored health issues I was experiencing, one time landing me in the ER and emergency surgery after refusing to listen to me. My husband, who has very serious disabilities that cause him chronic pain, asked one time in the five years we saw him for pain medication. Dr. McMahan said he would give it to him, but when we asked for the scrip at the desk he refused. He is rude, disrespectful, and a liar.
