Unfriendly Doctor
Went to see him after waiting 8 weeks to get an appointment to get a referral for a hormone doctor. He told me you have no hormones so why should I send you to a hormone doctor. Dismissed my request for the referral and thought I had other issues such as diabetes or thyroid, but tests came back in healthy condition.

Hates you for coming to see him
Absolutely the worst doctor I've ever been to. McCord acts like having patients is a waste of his time and doesn't appear to care at all. When presented with the issues you came to see him about, he reacts as if to say "well, what do you want me to do about it?" I don't know, you're the one who's the doctor. If I knew I wouldn't have come to you. He is constantly trying to shove you out the door so he can bring in the next patient he doesn't care about. Avoid him.

Shockingly horrible service.
My son shared his experiences with Dr. McChord and today I experienced it for myself. My son spent the night at the ER and already had an appointment for today that he decided to keep because of the long wait. I had a question after the appointment because my son needed a refill so he would not spend the next few days vomiting. Dr would not discuss it without a follow up visit... Apparently he insists on 1 topic per visit. Sent his poor nurse to deliver the bad news instead of having the decency and empathy to come talk in person as I asked. So apparently my son is supposed to go back to vomiting constantly so that he can end up dehydrated & back in the ER. Confirmed all the stories I had heard from my son. This guy is not qualified to stock shelves (no offense to shelf stockers)

Dr. McCord is the worst Doctor that I have ever seen. He cannot explain treatment options. It is his way or the highway. He wants to dictate medical care. I will never choose another Doctor who was trained by the military.

Stay away from this Dr. Like others have said, him and his staff will not return yours calls. After the 1st visit, I called 4 days in a row to try to let him the the meds he gave had zero effect on the pain. Finally some one tracked his nurse down, who then argued with me that my phone didn't work, the said they had the wrong number, that's funny as I left my number in all 4 calls. The very next week tried for 6 days to get in touch with him or the nurse, no luck. Finally called the folks that run the place, they called another Dr. In the office who proscribed the correct meds. Now trying again to contact him to see about my MRI, it's been a days o far...

I have been in Dr McCords office twice in the past, due to another Dr in the same office I see regularly not having any immediate openings. Both times I felt rushed, and I felt like he had better things to do. This second most recent time has left me feeling like he really doesn't care, and the prescription and instructions I was left with I feel are not right. As a mom for the last 10+ years you develop a lot of knowledge about do's and don'ts and intuition for when a doctor doesn't seem right. If you have a cold, or something easy, Dr. McCord is just fine. If its anything more serious or complicated, take your matters elsewhere.

I have five children and this is by far the worst doctor any of us have ever seen. I was early to my first apportionment, but because of insurance issues they saw me late. McCord and his staff were horribly rude. I went in for mental health issues and he saw me for less than five minutes, told me to be on time next time, and handed me a list of mental health doctors. Fast forward three months. My kids had their first appointment scheduled for well child check ups. They were sick so we missed the appointment. He is now refusing to see them as patients because if you miss one appointment with him he will not reschedule and you have to find a new doctor. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE. As a mother of five I need to trust that my children's doctor actually cares and will be there when we need them to be, and have absolutely no faith that this doctor would make a correct diagnosis or even care.

He has been a great doctor but like all doctors in WA State, their hands are tied and not able to do the medical treatments that the primary care physicians would normally do because of the damn laws, too much paperwork not enough time with the patient but he is great he has bedside manners and he’s honest and I feel safe he will help me get through my own horrible Medical issues and thanks to his wonderful nurse Sam I am never left out in the cold regarding what’s going on with my health.

I always thought that doctors WANTED their patients to get better. NOT SO with McCord. I'm 39 years old and he diagnosed me with a possible torn ACL. One would assume this would mean surgery. NOT with "Dr" McCord. He told me that an MRI wouldn't happen, I'd have to go to PT for 8 weeks. Beyond that, I'd have to "learn to live with it". I'm a teacher and an athletic coach...and did I mention, I'm under 40? Thankfully, I found a new REAL MD that ordered an MRI immediately. McCord should be avoided

I needed to establish a new primary care doctor after a recent move and I just so happened to be pregnant. During my visit I spoke with him about some concerns just for him to take note of because I needed help with them post pregnancy, he just made me feel like I was wasting his time. I sensed his annoyance so I did my best to end the appointment but before I left he wanted to let me know that my rapid weight gain during pregnancy is very unhealthy. He wasn't my OBGYN!
