Dr. McCarthy listened very carefully to my concerns and he explained what I needed concerning my reason for the visit which was a strained stomach muscle, and he explained that it was not a hernia however, it could benefit from exercise therapy with a therapist which he recommended. He also explained to me what gallstones were since a diagnostic x-ray had indicated that I had that problem and he recommended treatments and a strategy to closely monitor and follow up in one year with an ultrasound. I was very pleased with his service and wrote up an excellence award for him on that day. I have 100% confidence in him and should I need surgery in the future for the gallbladder. I would certainly want him to do it.

I was very pleased with the doctor. He was very thorough in going over my record the lab and the pathology reports and explained the specifics about my condition. We talked about what type of procedure I would be eligible for. He listened to my thoughts on how I wanted to have it done and we both concluded that in office procedure would be just fine.

Mccarthy is the absolute best Dr I've ever been to. He's patient, explains everything, talks to my level so I completely understand what he's talking about, makes me feel as if I'm his only patient and he's not rushing me along to get to his next patient, listens to my feedback then addresses it, and always asks if I have any more questions.

Past due hours on schedule. No concern or action on pain control. Had to remove own IV and leave pre-op bed due to extreme untreated pain after waiting in wet bed for 4 hours. I would sooner stay home and die than have to repeat the untreated pain, lack of nurse oversite and extremely late and unexpected wait time

He performed my 6 week old daughters surgery, he is such a caring Dr. We greatly appreciate his efforts in taking care of our baby girl. He even cut her little dressings into heart shapes. So sweet, above and beyond the call of duty.
