Extremely knowledgeable about migraines and meds to ease the pain efficiently. Also gives comple checkup to make certain no side effects of any meds or other issues

This Neurology practice should be shut down!
Horrible practice. Has not approved refills for my epilepsy medicine for over a week now after calls, mychart, and even a visit there. This happened with my last one I needed refill authorization on. Not one response. I honestly don't think they care if you die. I see that I'm not the only one with these issues. Read all of the Google reviews!

Assembly line treatment
I waited almost two hours before seeing Dr. Mareska. Front office was rude, and difficult to deal with. I was suppose to have a 30 minute consultation, but was only seen for 7 minutes. I had a list of questions, but never got through them....it was assembly line treatment.

While I like Dr. Mareska I have been kept waiting in the exam room while I heard him talking with a family member. My time is as important as his. Also, they don't accept phone calls during all the hours that the office is open. Also, the answering service won't take messages. The office staff is polite but very reserved and make no effort to be personable.

While it took a while to get a referral appointment, I was so impressed with his knowledge and ability to evaluate my condition. He has really helped my condition and I’m so grateful. I checked with a couple of my other Drs and they said he’s the best in Columbia - I totally agree!

I want to give -5 star, but there is no way to do it and giving one star instead. The worst office and office staff. Rude and unprofessional. Physician who acts so nice in front of you but talk bad about you behind the closed door to his staffs. Went 5 times for insurance paper works since the doctor did not complete the form, still the dr is not willing to look at it. My work status got affected due to their action. They are prejudice and nasty people who do not care about you at all.

He has been my husband's doctor for years, and he has been great! He listens and doesn't act like he knows it all. If there is a med you don't like he'll find an alternative. Biggest problem is his receptioninist who is rude and uncaring. BUT We'll put up with her to have an awesome doctor!

After a hospitalization it was recommended to see Dr. Mareska within 2-4 weeks. Per the office "all hospital discharges give those directions". They gave me a 4 month out appointment. I called several times to see if there was a cancellation. No luck getting an earlier appointment. I arrived for my appointment and was told that he was on vacation and per office policy I could not see another partner in the office. Next appointment 3 months. Do not use this MD, find another one.

I like Dr. Mariska but my doctors office and I have called for an appt. soon and I am being told it will be Sept. before I can see him. If I was not having problems that would be fine, but I am and can get nowhere with them.

The front desk won't sch for a follow up for months. The nurse told me over the phone my diagnoses. I thought the doctor would call me in a tell me or ask me to come in and do a one on one! Didn't happen!!! She didn't know much about my diagnosis and when I tried to ask questions she became angry and ask me what part didn't I understand. I still have not seen my doctor or spoke with him about me diagnosis. I thought it was very unprofessional!
