I recently had rotator cuff surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Chelsea and Dr. Marcovitz was my anesthesiologist. I had a bad experience with a different anesthesiologist's pain block in my previous surgery so I was concerned how this would go. Dr. Marcovitz went above and beyond my expectations. He made sure that the block and the pain pump I went home with was dosed perfectly so that I had minimal pain with a high level of comfort. Thank you Dr. Marcovitz and team.

I feel as though I'm the most important patient at that moment, even if my procedure isn't a major surgery or critical treatment. It's important to me, and I feel as though Dr. Marcovitz understands that's so. I have implicit trust in his skill, knowledge and experience.

My experience with Dr. Marcovitz was excellent! I had surgery at Chelsea for a torn rotator cuff and he provided the anesthetic. He explained everything that would happen once I was given the nerve block, etc. He also called me at home to inquire about my pain after surgery. He has a very calming mannerism which is so helpful when you are nervous going into surgery.
