This was my 1st meeting with Dr.Maehara. I thought he was very professional, went over the record from my pcp. Listened and wrote things down. Ordered some tests, shook my hand then we sanitized.

No compassion or empathy for his patients. Not interested in improving patients’ lives. Cares more about himself and how he feels that his patients do. Stay away at all costs.

A wonderful caring doctor that reaches out to my dear mother's Rheumatological needs. He is patient, kind and truly helps to make her feel comfortable at 98 years young. Would recommend him 100% of the time. Respectfully, Diane Davis

Six years ago I was very ill with an undiagnosed, somewhat rare immune disorder. Dr Maehara immediately recognized the symptoms and initiated tests that ultimately confirmed his preliminary diagnosis. He immediately ordered chemo treatment and after a period of time, with careful screening, brought the disease under control and manageable. Today, I am enjoying my life and I can honestly say that without Dr Mahara's expertise I would not be alive today. I am eternally grateful to him.

I appreciate the time and attention Dr. Maehara gives me during each visit. In addition, he was the only Dr. to pick up on an issue I reported to others! I hadn't even mentioned it during my visit instead he picked up on it right away and took action to inform others. What a relief to actually feel heard. I would definitely refer him to others.

Dr. Maehara is exceptional in many ways. Most importantly is one of the few doctors who take the time to actually LOOK at you! I'm seeing several doctors for various auto-immune diseases, and he is the only one who comes in, sits down and looks at me. ALL of the others walk directly to their computers and address the screen when conducting the appointment. I always feel like I might as well just phone it in. Br. Dr. Maehara remembers the tests and tells the results. Fabulous, trustworthy.

Dr. Maehara is a very kind and compassionate man. I was very ill and saw four other doctors before coming to Dr. Maehara. He kept on testing and finally he was the only one who came up with a diagnose. Dr. Maehara called me on the weekend to see how I was doing. Who does that these days???? He doesn't over prescribe medication. He works for Pioneer Medical Group and is on a salary so he isn't there for the money but for the compassion of his patients.

Dr Maehara is a wonderful Doctor . He explains everything so thoroughly and never rushes on to his next patient until I understand all test results and his plan to keep me feeling well. Any questions I have are answered completely. He listens to all my concerns and I always leave my office visit knowing I have a kind, caring , intelligent Doctor taking care of me. It is very reassuring to have complete confidence in your doctor, and with Dr Maehara I do.

Please Avoid this doctor and Pioneer provider insurance at ALL costs. This doctor Maehara has zero compassion, knowledge, or has the capacity to improve your health in anyway. Another doctor just interested in the money aspect. You can expect nothing from his treatments or when you explain your symptoms he has no answers & no plan to improve your health. And Pioneer provider is the absolute worst you can have all the confidence they are only about their bottom line & care nothing for your health
