My experience was good. I have only seen him once so far as I am waiting for a surgery date.

Dr Madsen and his staff are very attentive. He listens actively and offers viable solutions, always giving options to your medical problem and is very supportive.

Could not ask for any better care anywhere else.

Dr Madsen has been helping me with my back and sciatic nerve issues before meeting Dr Madsen my quality of life was very poor I was nearly unable to walk .The pain I was in was profoundly bad . Dr Madsen performed my Fusion surgery in 2023 and is now currently helping me with issues with my back unrelated to my fusion surgery. He is caring and compassionate, so much empathy . If anyone I know mentions back pain I automatically think of and refer Dr Madsen . I can’t thank this man enough for all he’s done for me in my life and continues to do .

A few weeks I go I ended up in urgent care. The doctor recommended Emerge Orthopedics. I am glad that I followed through with the doctor's recommendation. Dr. Madsen's approach is very professional and I feel that he is concerned about my medical condition. He had one scan done of the problem area and spent some time explaining what the scan showed. I have to have follow-up work done and I feel very comfortable using the Doctor's services.Here is a very important PS: The front office and the tech staff are very efficient and helpful. So all in all I look forward to have a competent team work on me.

Been having serious pain and back problems, Dr Madsen explained my condition and my options. I have cervical stenosis and it has advanced to the point I am having problems standing and walking more than 10 minutes, also having trouble with my balance. They called the next day to set up an out patient surgery, I am very thankful had fast this will be treated.

Throughout my treatment, Dr. Madsen demonstrated a genuine level of care and attention that is hard to come by. When I encountered an issue after my procedure, he was quick to respond and took necessary steps to resolve it,ensuring I was well taken care of every step of the way. His expertise is matched by his compassionate approach it's clear that he listens to his patients and strives to provide the best possible care. I truly felt like I was in great hands with Dr. Madsen, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of Spine care.

I wanted to wait after my 6 week post op to leave my review. From the beginning Dr. Madsen listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and was honest in what my options were. Yes, the first week of recovery was rough, as with any surgery, but as the weeks passed I noticed significant improvements. The back pain I had since I was 10 has gone away and I can now enjoy my life at 38 without having to deal with these issues.

The professionalism of Dr. Madsen is undeniable. He obviously saw, as well as heard, that I really wanted to avoid anymore surgeries if at all possible, since I have been through more of them than I can believe. I shared my feelings that surgeries are difficult and disruptive for my adult daughters and their families; since they're the ones who had to reroute their lives in order to wait for hours with and for me; and usually be my nurse for a week. It is also emotionally draining on them. After studying the initial Urgent Care xrays, and before Dr. Madsen even ordered or studied the MRI of my back & neck, it was comforting to hear him say he was not convinced there even was a break involved. At the MRIFollow Up appointment with Dr. Madsen (where he read my mind and gave me a print out of the MRI and Report-for my UNC Rheumatologist) --concluded saying,he wanted my emergeOrtho Pain Mgmt. Physician to be the director of what might be next for dealing with my neck and back pain.

Dr. Madsen always takes the time to listen to our concerns and offers options for the best care possible.
