He has a weird inauthentic laugh. I'm hoping not to be forced into seeing him again. He is one strange Doc.

Overall. I just couldn't come away with feeling that I wasn't being conned or that he had a different agenda that was not best for me but for him. I would be very careful with this doctor when it comes to decisions about your health.

I read people very well and while I have no doubts as to his competency. What I do have trouble is seeing is his level of morality which I find to be quite flexible. He's someone with a lot of resentment and so quick to abandon you if you don't meet with his ambitions. He is someone you can't fully put your trust in.

Just horrendous. He was extremely passive aggressive and not really listening to what I had to say. I was just horrified by his overall attitude and callous demeanor beneath that smile. He just lied to my face.

trust this guy
i had to go to several specialists to find dr luu - he hospitalised me the same day and oversaw my hospital stay, checking on my every day after the exploratory procedure. i trust his instincts & his decisions. over the years with my many medical issues, i have learned to ask the good doctors for referrals and generally that is a very good technique to find great doctors in other disciplines. i recommend him highly!

This visit occurred many years ago. My mom, a Medicaid member was referred to Dr. Luu for her positive TB test results. She was also recently diagnosed with ESRD. She mentioned to Dr. Luu that she is a woman of faith & she trusts in the Lord to take care of her. This is where the visit went downhill. Dr. Luu grew agitated & his micro aggressions became obvious in his condescending treatment of my mom. He replied, “then why are you even here to see me?” I boldly replied, “because my mom believes the grace is God is also placed on you to help ppl.” Dr. Luu in the questionnaire also realizes that as next of kin, I work for a local plan. He makes the assumption that somehow I was able to influence my mom’s eligibility to receive health benefits. Visit continues & mom has some difficulty following instructions with some of the tests conducted specifically the spirometer. He berates her instead of helping her. I should’ve filed a grievance bec after all these yrs, it still bothers me.
