Dr. Michael Litrel, MD

I interviewed many Doctors about my situation and Dr Litrel stood out hands down! He worked miracles and I would refer him to anyone that feels discouraged from other Doctors, Dr Litrel will help you! I have no idea why there are any negative comments on this site regarding him, none of it is true based on my experience.

I cannot say enough how amazing Dr Litrel has been for me. I went to him after months of biofeedback therapy for an incontinence issue that never improved. Dr Litrel presented me with options and allowed me to choose which path I wanted to take. He provided quite a bit of literature and I did my own research. I chose the surgery path as it was the best option for me and my situation. Dr Litrel explained the procedure and provided insight into what my post-op would feel like. Prior to surgery he came in to speak with me and my family and said a prayer with us. That earned him 5 stars by itself. My post-op was pain free. I kept waiting for the pain but it just was not there. There was just minor discomfort. I did follow all of his post op instructions and have had no issues with the incontinence since the surgery.Dr Litrel personally checked in with me often to make sure I was doing ok. He made himself available in case I had any questions or concerns.

Sad excuse for a human and doctor. Gifted surgeon but has forgotten the Hypocratic Oath he took. Will press potentially unnecessary procedures for profit and ego. Wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I went to Dr Litrel for a consult and he was self-centered, money-driven and unwilling to help. He was not considerate of my health and experience and was only concerned about what's profitable for him and kept promoting unnecessary procesures. Very disappointing experience.

Best doctor I have ever seen. Very professional and extremely caring. Has always gone above and beyond for me. I know that if I ever have a question or concern I would be able to reach him. I would travel any distance to continue to see him .I plan on making him my OBGYN until he is no longer practicing!

He made unprofessional comments regarding religion and inappropriate comments and assumptions about my looks and sexual activity. He claimed to be a specialist with endometriosis but he is not equipped to handle the disease!! I wasted $20,000 on a surgery that left me worse than when I first saw him. I later found out he lied about ultrasound results and cysts being present. I would not recommend him or this practice.

I completely disagree with any of the negative reviews I’ve read here. Seriously, no one WANTS to go to a GYN and be poked and prodded. Dr. Litrel makes the experience better than my previous doctors and the thought of these visits much less stressful. His bedside manner is wonderful. The environment is comforting and he and his staff are caring and kind. He has a sense of humor to help make the environment not terrible. Dr. Litrel takes time to listen to my concerns. He provided answers to my concerns, that my previous healthcare team dismissed, then he offered multiple action plans for consideration. He is a wonderful surgeon and my incisions have healed quickly and with very little scarring. He told me I’d feel younger after the procedures I needed and he was right!

I have been going to Dr. Litrel for almost 20 years and always thought he was so good, caring and compassionate. However, my last 2 visits with him have been awful. He was very condescending to me which really surprised me. Unfortunately after nearly 20 years I will be looking for a new gyn

I went to visit Dr. Litrel yesterday for a consultation. He was very nice, down to earth, knowledgeable and considerate of his patients well being. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in search of an honest doctor that cares.

Very disrespectful. Will never go there again and do NOT recommend this man.

Best OBGYN I’ve ever been to. Listened to all my concerns and was the first doctor to actually care enough to look further into my issues instead of dismissing them and finally got a diagnosis. Would travel very far just to see him! Totally disagree w/ the negative reviews

Dr. Litrel is one amazing doctor! Over 17 years ago he and the other doctors at Cherokee Women’s helped deliver my son! So glad Litrel is still around! Totally disagree with these low balling reviews!

Would not recommend this practice Dr Litrel was rude, unwilling to be professional in answering questions and would not do tests required or respond to concerns about test results this is NOT what should be expected from a health professional and does not meet standard care. DO NOT GO

I don’t agree with any of these negative reviews. My exam was so very informative. He explained and showed me so much. He knew my issues and helped me. I look forward to having him as my doctor for a long time.

He does not explain test results or diagnosis well. Dismissive and rude.

Dr. Litrel did an outstanding job caring for me! He give me his personal number and checked on me daily on how I’m feeling and if I had any questions! Super friendly staff and very professional! Highly recommend Dr. Litrel! M Iacobucci
