He was very thorough about what he felt would take care of my problem, and he did make it much better. Unfortunately, it exposed some additional problems that was not evident at the time of surgery. He is far from offering a second surgery, but is taking my secondary issues seriously and has started a series (as needed) of cortisone injections. I appreciate that he did not say that the secondary issues were 'part of the healing process', and wants to do what it takes for me to be pain free. I recommend Dr Lauffenburger and the staff of Orthocarolina in Winston Salem if you're experiencing shoulder pain.

I had shoulder pain for many years, but was nervous and reluctant to have a shoulder replacement. Finally I couldn't put it off any longer. I met with Dr. Lauffenburger, and he was very informative and reassuring. I arrived at 5:15am for the surgery, and was home by 9am. The nerve block I received kept me pain free for about 4 days. Afterwards, I only took an anti-inflammation tablet for any discomfort. Pt helped me to get my range of motion back. I can honestly say it was a pretty easy recovery for me, and I'm thrilled with the results. I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Lauffenburger!

Dr Lauffenburger is a caring doctor, and he has my trust. You never have to wait excessively in the waiting room, nor long before the doctor sees you. I believe he tells you the truth about your condition and any procedures he will perform. He's highly recommended by both me and my wife.

Dr. Michael Lauffenburger worked on my shoulder where I had pulled it out of socket and then waited a couple months before seeing him he worked on it 2 times to get fixed what I had screwed up. I've not had any trouble since he fixed it

I am four months post op and have full range of motion in my right shoulder in which the procedure was performed on 1-7-22. Dr. Lauffenburger has 27 years experience and it showed for this operation.
