Dr. Michael Kutryb, MD

This is the first review I’ve ever written. I needed cataract surgery with a large astigmatism for Dr. K to work with. My first step was working with Peyton, completing all the questions one has to answer before surgery. Next was Christina who explained everything, and I mean everything, as to what to expect, and the instructions for after surgery. Both ladies were absolute professionals and an asset to Dr. Kutryb’s office. Dr. Kutryb explained the surgical process and what to expect. He said my biggest problem was my over expectations, so I stopped thinking about what it would be like to see clearly for the first time since I was five (I’m 70). After the surgery, within an hour of leaving the center, I could see perfectly! Dr. Kutryb is nothing less than pure perfection as an ophthalmologist and surgeon. His entire office staff from the receptionists to those who take measurements, plan the surgery, and follow-up are simply the best. You will not be disappointed in any way.

I went to Dr. Kutryb's office thinking I needed new glasses and found out I had cataracts. My vision, without glasses, was terrible to say the least. Dr. 'K' and his team explained the procedures and were very reassuring to how I would see after the surgery. I now have near perfect vision, 20-25 in both eyes, and do not have to wear glasses after almost 50 years of wearing them! The surgery went great, just as he said it would. I feel 14 years old again! Dr. 'K' and his team are the best!!!!

My husband needed cataracts, but he had glaucoma in his right eye, the Dr only recommended what he needed, he wasn’t about the money at all. He’s about the health! Can’t find that very much any where. His staff is very friendly! Highly recommend him!

Excellent staff from top to bottom!Dr Kutryb and Dr Rutledge are the best. Professional and extremely knowledgeable .Dr Kutryb performed my cataract surgery on both eyes. I now have 20/20 vision after wearing glasses for 25+ years.Christina went over all the paperwork and answered all our questions in a professional friendly manner. She was very knowledgeable and didn’t try to oversell me. When your staff is friendly and professional that goes a long way. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone

I was seeing double vision which kept me from attending and playing in a sports event. Went to see this eye doctor who said I was having serious heart problem and sent me to the hospital which resulted in a pacemaker and saved my life.

If you think you will receive trust after being a patient for years forget it. The staff does not care who you are. They treat you like a new patient and act as if you are going to have fraudulent insurance cards no matter how long you have been seen by them. I served 40 years in the Navy and after that to think I served people like this makes me sick at my stomach. I will not come back until this doctor tells his staff to learn who they are serving.

only there for the money,has staff do all the work,very poor patient and social skills,would not recomend to worst enemy

Have been going to Dr Kutryb for several years. He is a perfectionist who is deeply concerned with his patients vision. Although he is efficient, he takes time to explain your eye problems and offer solutions. Highly skilled, he is the top choice for cataract surgery. While there might be a short wait, at times, it results from him taking time to explain things to each of his patients.

Went to the dr. about a growth on my eye which he removed with surgery but the growth came back. He thought it was cancer and another condition which both were incorrectly diagnosed according to another dr. that I had gone to who corrected the problem. Therefore I give this one star.

Dr. Kutryb is very caring, compassionate person. He explained every detail in what’s going on with my eyes. I would recommend him 110%. The staff very helpful , friendly and courteous . I can’t thank them enough for being so understanding and compassionate. Thank you, thank you.

Removed cataracts several years ago. It was a breeze and no complications. He is such a pro!

I asked to see Dr. Kutryb when I made the appointment, but the day of my appointment, I had to see someone else. There was a lack of communication between scheduling and the Dr.’s. I was there 2 1/2 hours due to overbooking appointments. I don’t like doing business like this. I was not happy with how they handled me as a new patient.

Dr Kutryb is a wonderful ophthalmologist. He has a very outgoing personality that makes you comfortable in his presence. It is obvious that he loves what he does. He has the ability to explain in terms that are easy to understand the procedures he will perform in your upcoming surgery. His office staff is a reflection of his leadership-friendly, professional and concerned about each patient. The Kutryb Eye Institute is an asset to our community

The entire experience at Kutryb Eye Institute is the best. Dr.Kutryb is a gifted surgeon. I can not thank him enough for doing both of my eye cataract surgeries. The office staff is professional and caring.

Dr. Kutryb is very knowledgeable , professional friendly and gentleman .Kutryb Eye Institute is very well organized front desk and all technicians are professional and polite i drove multiple trips from Orlando for preparation of my cataract surgery but it worth it and I am glad I did that because the results was excellent no pain no side effect . I strongly will recommend him to my friends and all others .

Dr. Kutryb is a very experienced Ophthalmologist who is very personable as well as professional. I am so excited about my new Toric lenses which restored my vision by correcting the astigmatisms I had in both eyes. I cannot believe how bright and white everything is now. I was seeing the world through yellow lenses before the cataract surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. K to anyone who needs cataract surgery! I cannot thank Dr. Kutryb enough for my two highly successful procedures.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to Thank each and every person, from the "welcome desk" to each kind person who answered my questions, administered the different tests and drops required until I was under inspection from Dr. Kutryb. Dr. Kutryb and Jessica were able to give me more answers and information (allaying any fears). Dr. Kutryb showed me specific tools and drew pictures! for my understanding (I think he loves his work??).

Can't say enough good about my experience with Dr. Kutryb. I don't remember ever seeing as well as I do with my new lens's. There was no down side. No side affects, complications, pain etc.. I could give examples of why I gave the ratings to those listed below. I wish other Drs. offices were as professional and caring as Kutryb Eye Institute. Go for it- you won't be disappointed.

The Doctor himself was very nice and was very educated. The staff however were unprofessional and acted stuck up. I was never informed about the changed address nor there being a co-payment. I also waited an hour past my scheduled time just to be seen.
