Doctor and some staff are very unhappy people.
Knowledgeable but nothing extraordinary. I had to ask an office clerk not to be rude. She hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again. Called and spoke with office manager. He took control of my husband's case and we saw results immediately. They definitely need new staff and training.

MISDIAGNOSED!!
Mike Kruger said I needed surgery to install a splint. After getting a second and third opinion was told my heart was in great shape! He no longer does anything BUT surgery so can only assume he is a greedy and scary man.

Avoid Mid Valley Cardiology go to UCSF or Stanford
I went for a routine clearance and was told I needed stents and after the stents told I needed a pacemaker. I’ve never had any issues with my heart. I go to UCSF monthly to treat cancer and they never found any issues with my heart. PLUS they love to prescribe super expensive hard to get medications which make me believe they are getting bonuses for the pharmaceutical companies? In addition they use paper medical coding NOT any electronic health records! So sharing with other providers is a nightmare.

Worst staff ever!
I needed to see Dr Krueger for a medical clearance…. Easy …. Not so much! It took them over 3 months to get the results of a simple stress test. They gave me the run around and made my surgery delayed. If you’re sent to this office , you must keep on them to get any kind of treatment. I feel sorry for their regular patients. I’d RUN from this office. I’d hate to have a real cardiac problem and have this office for my DR.

On January 2023, I went in for a routine yearly echo appointment. A serious problem was detected but no one phoned and I was not seen until March 1, which was an appointment scheduled in January for the results of the echo. No one will give you information until you go into an appointment that is scheduled from weeks to months away. Two of my physicians requested my medical records but they did not send pertinent records until I went into Dr. Kreuger's office and paid for them and picked them up myself. I have been going to this office for 15 years. I have never had a blood test or seen Dr. Krueger. I have only seen a PA. I have changed Cardiologists.

His staff sucks!
Trying to get information from staff is impossible. I'm scheduled for a pacemaker implant and have a few questions. I have tried for 3+ days to get someone to call me back. I'm also trying to get a copy of my test results and can't get those either.

Do not go to this doctor. He misdiagnosed my heart condition in 2014 as calcification of a membrane by the mitral valve. The surgeon went in and couldn't find the calcification-- they ended up doing full open heart surgery for "exploratory purposes"-- the surgeon pulled in 5 other cardiac surgeons to examine me--but did nothing and closed me up. Dr. Krueger saw me 1 time post-op and then again in 2018, when he informed me that my heart had enlarged to the point I needed to have a 2nd open heart surgery to address the issue and if it continued, I would likely need a heart transplant. All visits post op to 2018 I was seen by the FNP-- and "all was fine". I fired Dr. Krueger and went to Stanford Medical-- best decision in my life-- received the best care and a THOROUGH evaluation and assessment of my condition. I'd give him ZERO stars if I could.

I am having ongoing issues that I was referred to Dr. Krueger for that are not being addressed. I have been unable to get passed his 'gate-keepers' to ask him questions. I have been given a series of tests that are not uncovering the issue. He has no online contact listed and the staff will not give his email out. When I call in, I am transferred to 'the back office' with an indefinite wait time.

I would not recommend anybody seek care from Dr Krueger. My husband was a patient of his for several years. We have since severed our connection with this business. The care my husband received felt neglectful at best. We had not actually seen or spoken to Dr Krueger in over a year. He runs most of his business through his NPs. Dr Krueger is arrogant and unwilling to refer patients to another practitioner that would better meet the patient’s need. I had to forcefully advocate on my husband’s behalf to get some level of appropriate care. Dr Krueger wrote my husband off and left him to die. Don’t be Dr Krueger’s next victim of neglect and or incompetence.

Dr Krueger and the reception staff were wonderful. The scheduler was horrendous! Horribly rude, uncaring and threatening. All because I had car trouble and needed to reschedule. I'm reading reviews on this site and others and it seems to be an ongoing theme with this particular staff. Its very unfortunate, especially during these difficult times. I can only assume that Dr. Krueger is aware of the problem and supports her unprofessional work or she definitely wouldn't be working with the public.

I don’t know him that well yet, I may give him a higher score in the future. Our first visit was brief. As someone with acute Iatrophobia, I did not have a “meltdown” when he walked into the room, so that’s a good sign. I would say “So far, so good” but I’d like to get to know him better before giving him 5 stars.

Visit was ok. The assistant explained what they were trying to accomplish with me. The office staff is awful. Whomever the scheduler is, rude and uncaring. Told me she didn’t have time to pull my chart because I had a question then just hung up. I’ve called back 9 times and now no one answers.

EXCELLENT. I have been a patient of his since 2008, and in that 11 years he has cardioverted me many times. He always explains things thoroughly, takes questions, and his bedside manner has always been a model for other doctors to follow. So to any naysayers, he's the best cardiologist I have had since I started discovering I had atrial fibrillation back in 2004. D.O title makes no difference to me; it's not the title that's important: it's how you're treated as a patient. Quality is key!

We are just getting started with Dr. Krueger so this is a preliminary review. But if our HORRENDOUS experience at his office last week is any indication, we are in trouble! I brought my 80 year old mother in for an appointment at 2pm. We sat in the waiting room until 3:30, when we were finally led into the interior waiting room, where we waited until the doctor showed up at 4pm. Consequently, I missed a dental appointment for myself. Two hours is ridiculous! This guy better be AMAZING!

MD Krueger he was dishonest about care, I was told one thing about my procedure and on the day of Surgery he did not talk with me nor did he provide the services he said he would. I had several test done and he did not communicate with my PMD in a timely manner about critical results. I felt betrayed by his lying about a procedure and not sticking to his word. False statements by this doctor put my general health in Danger. Not a recommended doctor.
