(for a visit at the New Ulm location, where he also practices)I honestly didn't realize he was the doctor at first. It seemed like the nurses were more with it than he was. I thought he was a new nurse! He had that kind of arrogance that newbies have sometimes. It's kinda hard to imagine that he has been in practice for 20 years! Some types of epilepsy are difficult to diagnose, and not all manifest as grand mal seizures. The thing is, we didn't need a diagnosis from him--but rather stabilizing, and determining possible triggers. What we got was a doctor trying to push someone's flexed arm down during a seizure, saying that the eyes were intentionally rolling upward, and trying to twist the patient's head back the other way during a focal seizure. Stay away from him, if you can. But, since he's affiliated with Allina Health and floats around to different locations, you probably can't. Just stay away from Allina Health, maybe.

As another reviewer indicated he has "very important person" syndrome. He is condescending and, oh boy, watch out if you don't agree with him. If we ever go to the ER again and he is there, we will ask for another doctor or go somewhere else. He needs to realize that he is not God. Oh, and don't let him do a spinal tap...he wings it.

He has very important person syndrome. If you like someone who asks about your medical history and interrupts or disputes what you're telling him, please see him. You will feel much better if you avoid this one!!!
