I have visited dr. King few times for my lower back pain. I am a retired emergency physician. I am delighted to see him. Every time he enters the room with a smile and calming demeanor and in no rush to leave the room also I never waited more than 5min. Presently looking at my options either to have surgery for my lumbar spinal stenosis

We’ve seen Dr King several times for his expertise opinion on surgery for my husband. He recently performed a cervical laminectomy 3-4 which made a huge change in my husband’s health. He is now able to move his hands arms feet and legs, he’s stronger and this was 24 hours after his surgery. I’m hopeful his progress will continue with the help of physical therapists and Dr Kings professional advise. My husband has a better outlook on life now that his health is improving. Dr. King goes above and beyond and has a wonderful bed side manner. He will answer your questions.

Dr. King preformed my lumbar fusion,and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. After years of epidurals, I'm free of the chronic pain in my lower body. The release he preformed exceeded any expectations. My quality of life improved almost immediately. I can't say enough about the entire staff. At Blake medical, as well as the Bradenton office. Compassionate, attentive to this patients needs. Dr King, left the decision of my life up to me. I made the right choice. Highly recommend.

Dr King was recommended by a patient who told me that Dr King was amazing!!I saw first hand today that Dr. King was thorough and caring and AMAZING!!He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. He has incredible knowledge. The office is immaculate and the staff is professional and courteous. I feel very lucky to have found this doctor.

If every medical office, lab, imaging center were run as efficiently as this, with staff as welcoming, and time left in each day for emergencies, the world would be a better place. Dr. King is thorough; I never felt rushed but he didn't waste time, either. The whole experience, from making my appointment to the actual exam, was a pleasure. (If there is such a thing when you have a bad back.) I love that he sees surgery as a last resort, too.

My mom Sabina Ghiuri asked me to translate this review and unfortunately i forgot to cope and paste months ago . this is what she said: " I developed severe pain right more than left legs due to spinal stenosis and i was not able to ambulate for more than few steps. Last year I had surgery L4-5 laminectomy done in VA and I felt much better, than i did some effort again and my symptoms returned. We were new to the area and Dr King offered an appointment as soon as possible. I didn't speak English but Dr King and his staff manage to communicate with me and and explained the MRI findings and plan. I was so anxious, scared, uncomfortable for not speaking English but during the visit due to his kind a tone and kindness of the ancillary staff I started to feel more comfortable, and I had full trust and hope after the visit. He is one of the best doctors I encountered.

I picked Dr Michael King after reading his credentials versus other surgeons in same category and he won hands down. Consistent solid reviews of course helped. I did find him to be timely, [his staff did not make me sit and wait long] he was very comfortable with his abilities, very seasoned as to back issues, and not surgery happy at all. But if you need surgery, he is the man. Office was very clean and relaxed, and not a pile of people sitting around..(I worry about Covid naturally and so does this practice.) I cannot imagine anyone giving him a one star unless they had NO desire to even help themselves. Dr. King would not let anyone suffer needlessly, but he also seems to expect patients to do their part at some point - example if physical therapy is needed or other mitigation that would require the patient to take part in their own recovery. I am finally relaxed about my spinal issues, he greatly reduced my anxiety about it, and I feel relieved to finally be in good hands.

Dr King is very patient and explains what he sees in your MRI making me understand why I have the pain I do. He is not rushing me into surgery and for that I am so appreciative. I trust his judgement completely.

Dr. King is very conservative in his recommendations, which for me was rehab first then steroid shots and as a last resort surgery. I was very apprehensive to make my appointment until Dr. King reviewed my MRIs and said my pain could be managed with trying rehab 3x a week for 4 weeks to calm down the pain in my neck. I recommend him highly, even for a second opinion. GOD Bless you Dr. King.

To date, I’ve had 2 successful spinal surgeries with Dr. King. He is caring, thorough with his explanations & advice, and is a highly skilled surgeon. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr King is the best surgeon I have ever had . Discussed my surgery in detail left nothing out .i received compassionate care from him . He calls you himself with test results. Office staff is wonderful. Love this doctor!

Dr. King knew exactly what to do with my condition and did it. He called me personally to give my diagnosis and after the surgery called to check on my condition. I love this man.

My experience with Dr. King has been nothing short of miraculous. I was impressed form our first meeting. He is straight talking and very clear about the issues. I could feel the positive results of the procedure immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Dr. King was truly one of the best Doctors I have ever been involved with. An excellent surgeon with great skills. The work he did on my back is simply an "artwork"!!! he got me thru it, took time explaining things, up to and after the surgery. His staff in the office are absolutely great. They understand what we as the patient are going through. The bonus is Dr. King has a great sense of humor and personality, which is really important to me. Thanks Doc.!!!!

Very caring. Took the time to sit down and discuss my results and all the options I had to get better. Did NOT push for surgery. Was appropriately conservative with treatment. Very refreshing to not feel like I am being rushed. Especially in a specialty office like neurosurgery. I have full confidence in what I was told and how I am being treated!
